Practise practise and more practise is the key!!! I got one last year and only used it once much to the amusement of the bf :( not as easy as i thought it would be also practise when you have had a drink too as balance and aim need to go hand in hand ask any man :D

I bought a plastic funnel that works very well! It has a wide neck and long tube - no problem! It certainly works better than the one I was issued with at Leeds last year!

But do, as suggested, practice in the shower and you will gain confidence using it.

i agree with Laura above; go get nicely wobbly then give it a go. The shower idea is cool. There's something that feels very off about having a wee with your trousers still on...i love it. i almost used mine in the car the other day; bustin to go, whizzer in the glove compartment, empty bottle on the floor...hehe!

I guess i'm just dying to use it again. Not long now, woohoo!!

Okay I will be honest here...

I had been using the SheWee for a few days with on and off success. After having quite alot of beer, I decided to give it a go with my trousers n pants on.. I thought it was going well until I realised that it really wasn't going well at all!! Let's just say that a change of clothes was neccassary :P so I have learned my lesson and deffo need some more practice!!

I'm tempted to use it in the shower but I share a flat with seven other people so I feel a bit wrong doing that in there!!

any suggestions on other ways to practice? :D

I had a huge dilemma with this last year (my first Glastonbury). But in the end the toilets (long drops) were not as bad as I had been lead to believe and I ended up using the whiz for those early morning wee's (with the help of a bottle) when I just couldn't be arsed to crawl to the loo, and even that was a pain in the arse (Not literally folks, I am using it properly  )!

Take one, but don't stress too much about it. It took up far too much of my mental energy last year, and ended up being a complete waste of time.

Peace x

i found mine out after reading this thread.

Have put it on top of the toilet so every time I go ill be reminded to use it.

Tried it a few times now and its gone really well.

The trick is to hold it slightlightly to the rear and firmly girls!

You can't be shy with it as thats when the accidents happen.

Used mine a lot last year, not so much in the toilets but back at the tent.

I was constantly drinking beer/cider/spirits so had to go in the night.

I would use a wide necked bottle and do the walk of shame with it in the morning.

I'd take it to the loos to tip away ready for that night.

Bet you all think i'm disgusting but it was better than tent hopping in the middle of the night.

    • The Great Fete Festival (Sunday Only) Ocean Colour Scene day on Tickets For Good.
    • I was also at Ghost but seated. When they scanned my ticket's and they came up as seated they printed a small ticket with the seat number info.
    • I was standing for Ghost at O2 London last year where they put the phone in a pouch beforehand so I assume they're is a mechanism in place for people in seats.
    • Most likely not, keeping an eye on Tixel and Twickets might be the best option.
