Prodigy in 05 were fantastic as were The Verve last year but the biggest surprise I got was going to see Presidents of the USA in 06.. Only know a few of their songs but they got the audience involved as much as any band I've seen and the tent was absolutely rockin'..

Worst was Amy Winehouse last year but at least it gave me the opportunity to leave early and hit the Bacardi tent for some Scratch Perverts action...

Can't remember what year it was but I was very surprised to find myself enjoying Moby a few years back. Muse last year were amazing, have to say that was the best set I've seen at V. Though the defining moment of last year was Hot Chip - Over and Over, if you were there you know...

Adversely I've not listened to Reverend and the Makers since V last year. Political ranting is so indulgent and completely redundant at what is possibly the most commercial festival on the planet. Duffy was rubbish too, her voice is even more intensely annoying live, and she hardly exuded personality...

They were awesome.

Chems last year shortly behind, as the atmosphere/special effects were quality.

Am looking forward to mgmt in the jjb this year.
