have a couple of questions to ask...

1) would getting there on tuesday night be out of the question? don't mind staying up during the night to get in early. otherwise, i can't get to the site till about 1pm wednesday.

2) what campsite would you recommend? we are 3 16 year-olds and want a lively area (what's this dragon place being mentioned?)

thanks

You can't get onto the site until the gates open which is 8.00am Wednesday. A few of us camp the night before in Glastonbury town and go to the pub:

I can't help you with where to camp though, although there is an unofficial efestival camp in Pennards which is quite lively, there will be quite a few of us there.

Security would be VERY displeased. At the absolute best, you'd get hassled and moved on.

I'd have thought that would be fairly obvious to be honest. Hence all the repeated requests on the official site, on this site, in the documentation sent out with the tickets, and probably other places that people don't arrive early.

There is only one place to be and thats Pyramid Hill......its safe, lively and friendly and close to the Other Stage and the new Park Stage. This is my 7th Glasto and I have never stayed anywhere else (am I boring?). As your 16/17 a bit of advise....dont buy any 'cakes' from anyone, I do every year and often wonder why! Guess I will this year.......lol

    • Jesse Malin at Manchester Halle St Peter's last night.   So good to see him back touring after the trauma he has been through, him and the backing band sounded great.   Support was Bason. I quite enjoyed him, but man, that guy cannot sing.
