So its basically paying for access to the guest area.

I had a guest pass last year as I knew some people working there. It was ok for me as I was on my own for a lot of the time and used it to chill out and for the clean(er) toilets. Radio 1 were broadcasting back there and I saw a bit of a Biffy acoustic set which was kinda cool. Apart from a few bean bags and some sit down food, there wasn't much to it.

Wouldn't bother paying for it personally.

I had a press pass in 06 and so hung out in the guest area a lot and it was really cool. if you're into 'famous people spotting' then I would say it's worth the extra £45, plus I got to sleep in the air conditioned exhibition centre, which was nice I actually started a sleeping section, when I woke up there were 4 more people beside me lol
