well, yesterday was a long way off a forums record, but was still a website record - there were more people used all of the eFestivals website yesterday than has happened before.

Annoyingly, the forums slowed right down at one point despite the server load not being very high at all .... there was obviously something causing this which I'll be trying to pin down so there's not a repeat.

yes it did go a bit slow for me at one stage but then at about 7;40 it all seemed to be working again.

well, with over 105,000,000 (yes, that's really 105 million!!) hits yesterday I think things worked rather well considering.

How many unique users? Do you have stats for that?

Yeah, coped well... was slightly sluggish between 7 and 7.45, but rest of the day was fine!

yes, 142,000

edit: and I've just realised that i took the wrong figure for number of hits - it was about 12 million, not 105M. doh!
