Manics please!

I'd love to see the Manics. Haven't seen them since the 'This is my Truth...' tour in late 1998 and I'm in Slovenia when they play the Barras at the end of May

their new album even sounds listenable, which is good news. I haven't been a fan of their stuff for about a decade now (especially that dreadful song they did with the Cardigans....oh dear oh dear) but their first 3 albums were amazing

Would be good if they do go, last time i seen them was about 2002 i think in the barrowlands in glasgow, one of THE best gigs ive ever been to, i fear that if they play this time i'll have some trouble convincing my mates to accompany me as none of them seem like manics fans, but f**k it, i'll go myself if they wont come, childhood memorys

I am a huge fan of the manics but I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news , I spent about 20 mins chatting to James dean bradfield in Cardiff yesterday an he said there is nothing on the cards for uk festivals this year other than t and oxygen , unless anything comes up last minute sorry guys .

Maybe headlining The Other Stage? They are not big enough to headline main stage anymore but are defitely too big to headline John Peel.
