They rumored Journey because they are on tour with whitesnake and def leppard

I dont think there will be any others though; i would have expected Airbourne to play that dy since they are a modern/classic style but they got announced for sonisphere

There are some good old bands on this year.

Whitesnake - have seen them 3 times and they have never dissapointed. David Coverdale is a very funny guy, taking the pi$$ out of himself, etc. They will be rockin'!!

Def Leppard - saw them once before, they are good, very slick but can tend to over do the ballads a bit sometimes -it loses the gigs momentum.

Motley Crue - excellent live act! Saw them in 2005, really entertaining.

I'll be seeing Whitesnake / Def Leppard / Journey / Tesla in Dublin on the Friday night so I'm not too upset that i'll be missing Download.
