Should i have all this gear already?

Just that i want to travel light.

I've never been to Glastonbury but other festivals I've been to you can go with practically nothing and buy everything there. Probably not as cheap as on the highstreet/internet but still you can get everything there from the assorted stalls etc. yeah.

Joe Bananas is great, and there's a couple of Milletts on site as well, so pretty much all your needs are catered for. I'd advise buying wellies before you go though. And the only thing about not taking waterproofs with you is if it rains in the queue to get in...

Even in 2007 when it rained most of the time all I had was a rain poncho freebie from Orange tent. When the rain did stop these fit into a pocket or bag so you are not weighed down. You can get a supply in advance for a couple of quid off eBay.

Travel in your wellies, these can be hard to get in bad weather.

you can get waterproofs there, but they are extremely overpriced when it starts raining.

one would suggest you go to your local poundshop before you go and get some of those disposable poncho/raincoats... they are light, take up no room at all, and only cost a pound so you can't go wrong really.
