“Little change.”As we head towards July, early indications show that high pressure will remain across southern parts with the highest temperatures to be found in south-east England.Northern parts of the UK will probably see more wet weather. However, there are expected to be some clear spells, which could mean that night-time temperatures in the north-west fall below the seasonal average.

Ive just looked on NME website and the headline says glastonbury set to be hit by monsoon!! It's as regular as clockwork, according to expert. im not beliving it yet but just letting you know whats being said.

That's not much good if the heatwave starts on Monday 29th is it? Sorry to put such a downer on things but the indications at the moment seem to be pointing towards another unsettled festival and it's doing my head in

Me too. Not sure I can take another 2007.

I distinctly remember the forecast being very dull a week before last year's festival and it turned out to be cracking weather, especially on the Friday when I got sunburnt.

They were pretty much spot on from what I can remember. There was uncertainty about the amount of rain and when it was going to happen, but it was for a mainly dry but cold festival which is what happened

They have put the article up on nme and it doesnt really say anything apart from the fact there could be a monsoon just like its possible every year.

Another 2007 would be the end for me (I distinctly remember saying that at the time but was back in 2008!), but I really think it would be a case of enoughs enough. IMO Anybody who says they can still have as good a time as if it was dry is kidding themselves. The mud/rain just saps your energy and spirit and you can only take so much before it's just not funny anymore. Sorry for that rant. Bad day!
