Vote for Bella in UK Festival Oscars by 13th October and win tickets to top UK Festivals!

Bella has been nominated for six categories of the festivals oscars - the 2008 Virtual Festival Awards - the most nominations for any Scottish festival. You can vote for bella by clicking on the link and voting under the following categories: Best Medium Sized Festival; Grass Roots Festival Award (for the least commercialised festival); Family Festival Award; Best Line-up; Best Toilets; and the Innovation Award (we were nominated for the Care Bear who lent a sympathetic ear to people's problems in the children's area). Cast your votes at www.festivalawards.com and you could win a pair of tickets to any of the winning festivals from this year's awards. Your vote needs to have been cast by 13th October to qualify. Winners will be announced 30th October

Bella 2009 tickets on sale

Bella 2009 takes place 7th and 8th August and weekend tickets are now on sale! The advance price remains the same as for 2008 at £80 per adult and kids' tickets are free for 12 and unders. Parking and camping are free again with the exception of caravan and camper van parking which will cost £30 per vehicle. You can beat the credit crunch with our 'on-TICKet' - pay £30 now and the rest any time up until 1st May 2009. Hard tickets will be available from the usual retail outlets on 1st December in time for Christmas and will be distributed from on-line agents after that date. Our 'on-TICKet' option is only available on-line or you can pay the full price at The Booth (www.thebooth.co.uk), Ticketmaster (www.ticketmaster.co.uk); Ticketline ( www.ticketline.co.uk); TicketScotland (www.ticket-scotland.co.uk); and Skiddle (######).

08 Bella best ever

Judging by the responses to our survey, Bella 08 was voted the best ever by fans. Here's how Virtual Festivals summed it up in its review: 'So there you have it. Belladrum; Glastonbury in miniature and the closest thing to the perfect festival you'll ever find.' We've started work on Bella's sixth birthday party, and we've already got a few surpirses for you up our sleeve. In the meantime, we've booked the very wonderful Kid Carpet (www.myspace.com/kidcarpet) who last wowed Bella audiences in 2006.
