You remember when you used to attend the license review every year Neil? We were all on tenderhooks for a number of years between 2002 and 2004 I think when it was never in the bag until that had been cleared.

Fascinating stuff - didnt know all that. Yeah, the 2004 sale was unbelievable - something like 12 hours for me sitting there all day in my flat redialling every 5 mins - the phone eqiivalent of F5 today!

Back in 2004 it wasnt See either iirc - it was 'Aloud' tickets or similar...

Before that I used to get mine from a chap above a bookstore in Orange Grove in Bath who used to wear a massive purple crushed velvet coat... After than Rival Records in The Corridor in Bath used to do them b4 it went full HMV. Had a shock in 2004 when we all started to have to get them by redialing the See booking number 100's of times b4 getting though if we were lucky. Then it all went online and here we are...

Back in 1998 HMV sold out locally. A mate of mine drove all the way to the Basingstoke branch who had about 6 left and secured our two. Got it lucky you lot nowerdays I reckon 😉

If they havent got a backuo, expect an email in the next few days asking everyone to check then re-reg if they are missing from the system...

Reckon the'll be frantically restoring it from backuo now - assuming they made and kept one ;).

Checked mine anyway and got a valid reg response email back. I suggest we all do the same (as the issue may have occurred since you last checked or after Monday cut off point).

Has anyone checked their reg again tonight to find it suddenly missing? They knew it would blow up if it went ahead as peeps would have the dated email confirmations from the system that they had ratified or renewed the reg.

I can only believe they would take this step if there had been a genuine database issue where ratified registrations had indeed been deleted in error by the system.

I'd say put the see tix url in your whitelist in the browser as well so it can use whatever cookies, scripts etc that it wants unimpeeded.

Then the single ip is their front end load blanacer. I would not be surprised if they changed that on the day maybe a few mins b4 and that it has a low ttl for that to happen.

All the IPs will change on the day. My advice dont manually add these to hosts. Wait until the day and whats ublished here. Tbh modifying your hosts is if anything a risk deending on what see do on the day.

Shared WIFi - be mindful of this. See may consider the cumulative hit rate. Remember See dont give a sh*t about being 'fair' to every technical circumstance or set up. Their remit is to sell tickets. If they are a bit unfair here and there it means nowt - they'll all sell regardless.

Correct. They are all programmable now anyway so it doesnt mean what it did years ago when they were all hard coded to the ROM of the adaptor.

Went with 23 yo tent again this year... When I cant wait and pitch anymore, thats it for me. Kinda like the challenge in a way. 52 this Nov.....!!
