Yeah overcast is perfect, just been putting the washing out and thought is my perfect Glastonbury weather

see i loved 2016, i mean it was hard, but ive never laughed so much, is up there with one of my fave glastonburys, 2010 is prob my least favourite (although still loved it) the sun is harder to deal with for me, was too hot, no shade. I think in wet / mud years, we all pull through more to have a good time, yeah you miss just being able to sit anywhere, but the laughs we had that year. Me pal went to help 2 people stuck in the mud by T&C, and ended up getting stuck himself, which led to someone trying to help him and them getting stuck, was like a comedy sketch. I'd take mud over sunshine at a festival all day - should've put this in the controversial topic

In 2010 me cousin came along and bought his girl and her sister, they hated everything, me cousin was loving it, but them 2 just couldn't handle it, it was the year it was roasting, so it was hard, the Wednesday is always hard, kept saying that. Thursday morning we got up and the young sister was packing her stuff, phoned her Dad to come and get her, never heard of her again. Didn't even give it a chance, waste of a ticket.

love this thread. Desperados, maybe some red stripes..then litre of rum, mixed with ginger ale, vodka and orange for breakfast, sets you up, tequila for those late night shot and buy cold beers from the bars. I cant even remember the lager, was it Tuborg, not been since 2017

yep, same, failed in 2019, didnt think stood a chance in this resale, but luck was with us and me pal nabbed some at 09.03, feel genuinely lucky when you hear the stories of others and water bottles etc, that long wait while the card processed is grim... then joy when the email comes.
