I would be surprised. Even festivals in September are being cancelled.
Which ones have gone in September? i still have a couple.
One in Manchester and one in Liverpool

Delighted that it would normally happen in a fallow year.
Do we know when it's normally announced?

What do we think. Will there be a Pilton Party held this year?
As this could be the closest I get to thinking I'm in Glastonbury this year does anyone know if there will be one?
Or is the Pilton Party only ever held in a festival year?
On the off chance there is one who would you want?
I'd be happy with anyone!

Very sorry to hear such sad news.
Hope you are all doing well

Yeah can’t imagine either would rebook for this and not do Glastonbury. A part of me wants one to be missing to add some mystery to next years Glastonbury headliners, but a bigger part really fucking hopes they’re both there.
Personally I hope neither are there. I'd love 3 new headliners to get excited about. If they are i'll be somewhere else (as I would of this year)

not on any platform i can find. AND i've looked!

I've finally turned into my father.
The title of this threat really bothers me. I hate numbers in names and I especially hate G2021
@Bisque this is definetly an issue with me and not with you
I actually have no feelings either way if they play or not! Each to their own!

Next year will still be its 50th festival, no?
no, it's the 50th year not the 50th festival.
Not that it makes a difference!

Gutted its gone
Delighted to keep my ticket
Believe its the right thing to do
Hopefully they get to do a Pilton Party and i'll go to that for a taste of whats to come

not sure if its been suggested before (apologies if its already been debated) but do we think there is any chance they may delay the balance payment date by a few weeks.
If they need to cancel it may make the process earlier. (not that they are cancelling )

always a favourite part of my festival build up. Planning on lots of new food traders to try and missing 90% of them when I'm on the farm!

there is a HUGE amount of speculation at the moment. The government is planning for the worse possible scenario and the press are fuelling the speculation because it fills air time, drives clicks and pays premiums for advertising.
I'm sure it will get worse before it gets better but so will flu!
i'm of the opinion that this helps keep the world focussed on things which aren't key at the moment.
Climate Change is a bigger worry for me.
As long as it doesn't get to extreme numbers i'm sure the festival will go ahead.

can we at least have a cheeky map update. I need something to stop me reading about the bloody coronavirus

if memory serves me correct they had some Kangaroos bouncing around ? ..... id try to forget but its still in there
a few years back my mate invited my round to see the expense piece of Art him and his wife had saved up and invested in. It was an origianal painting by Rolf Harris.
Now it doesnt even get a place in the loo
He was gutted when Rolf's true nature came out!

My dad's checked and they have got B&W.. I'm guessing see won't be able to swap it to East for them?
Seems like a bit of a pain in the arse with shuttle buses and that, but that's just me I'll be camping anyway just hope it will be ok for them, sure it will be ok once they are there
Thanks everyone for your help 🙂
there will be camper van tickets resold for East at some time before the festival. Some always get returned.
You dad could buy one and use someone elses registration (who they are travelling with) as the lead booker.
They could then return the B&W ticket. They would lose the deposit. Or sell it to someone on here (at face value) but that person then takes a risk as not having the lead booker travel with them.

they will be ready ... they know the necessary timings better now ... last year was a learning experience ... this year that pier will be nailed ...they will all be there ... the blue tents around the pier are happening we just haven't had any confirmations as to how to get them though yet .... perhaps they have reserved them for the efest resale team
are the blue tents confirmed? i've rather have these than my campervan

Sticking my head above the parapet. I’ve heard the exact same information. Came to the forum to post it to see that I was beaten to it. He will be billed either as a special guest or as love revolution.
Starting to think me and Ddiamondd might know the same people.
How certain are we he'd be up against Macca? I'd love to see him but Macca is my only confirmed watch!

Looking forward to this now. It will sooth the hurt a tiny bit and help draw a line under the 50th.
