Dizzee played at Glasto 08. I saw him, subbing to Dirty Pete Doherty (and a secret Franz Ferdinand set) on the Park stage.
He was great, but I don't think the Pyramid was ready for Pussy 'Ole that year.

The old radio one roadshows used to be the highlight of the year in Torbay 😂
The whole town awaiting the tell-tale jingle-jangle of gold jewelry and the smell of cigar smoke..

Bet @Gnomicideis loving this bit of moombahton
I once tried explaining the concept of moombahton to some friends.
It was at that point I accepted I am old and gave up.

I was hoping for a Quack Quack Oops if anyone got the question wrong.
That was the euphemism he used in court, but the judge was having non of it.

She was not going to reply or tweet saying 'two names announced tonight'
I know I'll definitely be listening out for more information on the Emerging Talent competition.

Mates of mine had been going since 1997...said to me oh its easy to get tickets...obviously, pre-super fence was a doddle.
2002 took 6 weeks to sell out
2003 was 24 hours (which should have been the warning to what was going to happen)
so I finally try for 2004 and it was a fking nightmare.....and has been ever since! (bar 2008 and 2009)
Particularly as you didn't even need a ticket to get in.

Love that Scooter is the big takeaway from this morning's discourse...
I at least know a few of their tunes, not something I could say of young Mr Styles.

I think this is more aimed at mainland European festivals but this is an interesting quote and article on the current situation, from the Primavera thread.
That last line about staff is quite telling, I think. In this country those workers weren't given much help, Glastonbury did try to do its bit to raise them a few quid. It's entirely possible that the backstage guys are now driving delivery vans or whatever.

Shocking, and yet completely unsurprising.

The top Mail stories on their site are not positive reading for him. Will he also lose the Express?
Doesn't matter. Nobody reads the Express.

Johnson has the report now apparently. Suspect he read it in 2 mins and, if he didn't already, believes he is 100% bullet proof.
He'll have somebody read it for him and give him the gist.

So Spotify is down by 4 billion in stock, so does that mean Neil wins?
Tech stocks generally have taken a bit of a battering so far this year, it's probably part of that.

Johnson has awful diplomacy skills, he’s going to do more harm than good out there (if he does anything at all).
He'll do nothing at all. Russia is not concerned about the UK in the slightest. They're barely concerned about Europe at all, hence the lack of involvement in the recent talks. Its just window dressing, allowed by the Americans to protect our pride in what remains of our international influence.
