  1. I know someone else is doing the immediate clashfinder editing, and no rush, but for completeness are the Round The Twist and rest of Cinedrome times somewhere else in the programme?
  2. I've seen people suggesting traditional Green Man supersubs the Wedding Present and I note they've just started a tour that has a small gap, pretty much their only one for the next month, from next Sunday...
  3. At the risk of stating the obvious it's no good being fatalistic about the weather in three weeks' time when we don't accurately know the weather for the end of this week, but don't forget that there were 30+ C temperatures in the south in the days following EOTR last year...
  4. I imagine this is the new secret cabaret bar Fiona mentioned in an interview and its location was speculated about on the previous page.
  5. GM say in a Twitter response that they may not be able to burn the Green Man on Sunday night due to weather and ground conditions.
  6. Their big December hometown gig has been cancelled too. My baseless assumption is GM are going to try and name a replacement immediately, or else they'd likely have let it be known the band are off the bill ASAP as they did with Meic Stevens a few years ago.
  7. In what seems like an answer to an earlier question, Nuha Ruby Ra says on IG she'll be DJing at Round The Twist before joining with Soccer96's Walled Garden set.
  8. Grove says their stage time is 5-5.50pm, and I have no idea how that fits with the rest of the running order.
  9. Chai Wallas is a kind of touring extra stage across several festivals (Shambala, Kendal Calling, Secret Garden Party) with its own bookings and speciality bar. Round The Twist is a small party tent in a far corner that plays host to DJ sets all weekend.
  10. Looks like Buffalo Nichols has pulled out, along with Nathalie Bergman which we already knew. Clashfinder has been updated. Are there going to be live acts in Round The Twist this year? I can't imagine the likes of Nuha Ruby Ra, Mermaid Chunky and Maria Uzor are coming just to DJ.
  11. Now to work out who's pulled out if they've added that many...
  12. I was about to go through the Clashfinder but it turns out lessthanwill already has. One thing he's noted is that Gretel Hanlyn has disappeared from the Thursday split but she's still on the full line-up page (unlike Natalie Bergman, who it seems has cut her Euro visit short)
  13. The Met Office long range currently says of 18th August-3rd September "Occasional bouts of more unsettled weather are likely for this period. These increase the likelihood of thunderstorms, especially in the south and west." Obviously they won't know accurately until nearer the time but something that specific suggests they've seen something.
  14. Looks like there was a stage invasion (which Bobby says was approved by the festival) and it either collapsed fully or the middle struts went, and now it looks like it's out of commission for the whole weekend. I say "looks like" as there's not only nothing about it on any of the festival's social media, there's barely been any tweets referencing it bar a few acts for today and tomorrow announcing they're not playing.
  15. My thinking was it's going to be the same area as the disco ship, which I assume will still be there, so that would take precedence after 7 or so, though then advertising Tom Ravenscroft as DJing on the Saturday might be confusing. EDIT: wait, Lunge say they're playing "Friday night", but Andy Backhouse says on IG he's DJing the Disco Ship from 10pm on Sunday.. So... I'm confused now. Anyone want to drop a DM to some of the acts?
  16. You'll have seen Keg mentioned often on this board and for good reason. Mess Esque is Mick Turner of Dirty Three with a vocalist and is a little like his work with Cat Power on Moon Pix. Uwade (who sings the opener on Fleet Foxes Shore) for contemplative folk, and Rosali if you want the old Americana and country-rock EOTR staples. I know the country isn't short of sprechgesang post-punk but English Teacher are among the very best at it. Lunge are the singer from Archie Bronson Outfit and the drummer from Joe Gideon & The Shark - I haven't heard them but they're described as "classic soul, cosmic-dance-punk and psych-pop" which has to be worth a look. I guess it's so they and Lynks can guest on each other's sets but Grove mid-afternoon when they would have ideally fit the post-headliner slot is the one placing that really baffles me (that and Christian Lee Hutson, who I'd thought would be much bigger than Talking Heads and he's not even playing the same day as his collaborators Conor Oberst and Nate Walcott)
  17. Yeah, with the caveats that I was never seriously looking at it as an option, despite all the tickets that were being sold in recent weeks I don't know how much they were (though I always thought SGP was one of the most "the lineup doesn't matter" fests) and the kind of festival that prominently bills a paint fight would have me sprinting in the opposite direction, the absolute howl of anguish seems out of step with what's presented, unless you actually were expecting the Chemical Brothers and Florence & The Machine to appear at a mid-level event (and it seemed weird that the "leaked Thursday lineup" earlier in the thread didn't include someone who had accidentally self-confirmed) If nothing else, there's plenty of it.
  18. FWIW I don't really think Perfume Genius will play a 90 minute set, I suspect there'll be an announcement some time in August of the "we're adding a very special set by Semi-Famous Artist X!" kind, as it's pretty clear Gabriels were going to play third from top and with time getting on the festival decided to release the splits before confirming a replacement (or maybe having to hang fire on one)
  19. I just realised I could have easily answered my own question through the 2021 Clashfinder, which says it ran comedy at 1pm-3pm and midnight-1am (except Sunday), conversation 3.45-4.30 and music 5.30-9.45. So Raymond's time fits in but there's probably less of a gap between acts, though I'm not going to change that yet given I've made up the times on two of the other stages that day.
  20. Changed, though as she's headliner it makes me confused as to what they're doing with that area if it's hosting the books and the comedy as well as music. What time did the comedy end last year?
  21. Done! https://clashfinder.com/s/eotr2022/ Remember, Saturday Woods and the Boat times are guesstimates.
  22. Just realised I left some of the predictions in for Friday, so this is how it should look: 12:00-12:45 Aga Ujma (Boat) 12:00-12:45 Automotion (Big Top) 12:00-12:45 Rosali (Garden) 12:45-13:30 Lichen (Tipi) 12:45-13:30 Shovel Dance Collective (Woods) 13:15-14:00 Keg (Big Top) 13:15-14:00 Party Dozen (Boat) 13:30-14:15 Naima Bock (Garden) 14:00-14:45 Keyah/Blu (Tipi) 14:15-15:00 English Teacher (Woods) 14:30-15:15 Fat Dog (Boat) 14:30-15:15 Mandy, Indiana (Big Top) 14:45-15:45 The Golden Dregs (Garden) 15:15-16:00 Highschool (Tipi) 15:45-16:30 Circuit Des Yeux (Big Top) 15:45-16:30 Lunge (Boat) 15:45-16:45 Steam Down (Woods) 16:30-17:15 M(h)aol (Tipi) 16:30-17:30 Anais Mitchell (Garden) 17:00-17:45 Snapped Ankles (Boat) 17:15-18:00 Wu-Lu (Big Top) 17:30-18:15 Uwade (Talking Heads) 17:30-18:30 Durand Jones & The Indications (Woods) 17:45-18:30 Mess Esque (Tipi) 18:15-19:15 Nilufer Yanya (Garden) 18:45-19:45 Dehd (Big Top) 19:00-19:45 Skullcrusher (Tipi) 19:15-20:00 Christian Lee Hutson (Talking Heads) 19:15-20:30 Tinariwen (Woods) 20:00-21:00 Porridge Radio (Garden) 20:15-21:00 The Chisel (Tipi) 20:30-21:30 Soccer Mommy (Big Top) 21:00-21:45 Buffalo Nichols (Talking Heads) 21:30-22:15 Fruit Bats (Tipi) 21:30-23:00 Fleet Foxes (Woods) 21:45-22:55 black midi (Garden) 22:45-23:45 Audiobooks (Tipi) 23:15-00:15 Battles (Big Top) 00:30-02:00 Kareem Ali (DJ) (Big Top)
  23. It's most logical, I think - Boat stuff usually starts around 8pm so it gives them time to deconstruct the stage and set up the disco ship PA. What I'd be concerned about is where the craft events are going, if the literature really is moving to Talking Heads, and wouldn't there be sound bleed into the cinema.
  24. Presenting... the Emergency Text-Based Time-Speculative Clashfinder! Couple of notes - as it looks like Gabriels aren't being replaced I'm assuming Pixies and Perfume Genius are in extended slots (setlist.fm tells me Pixies played a two hour, 39 song set in Dublin recently), and the Boat times are based on them surely wanting to use the Disco Ship later on. Thursday 1st September 17:45-18:45 K.O.G.
