  1. So, inspired by @lessthanwill1's attempt at a Green Man prospective clashfinder, I've trawled through every act's tour dates and come up with this: https://clashfinder.com/s/eotr2022/ Only three acts fewer announced than last year's full bill, you may notice.
  2. Lucy Dacus on Sunday NewDad on Saturday (Also, was anyone else aware that Automotion are Liam Gallagher and Patsy Kensit's son's band?)
  3. If anything it'd be as bad, as it'd not only clash with End Of The Road and Manchester Psych Fest but a lot of kids go back to school that week. The best move would be to dial expectations/size back down to last year's levels but I don't know how they do that and save face.
  4. From the website (but not yet their social media, despite having last posted to Facebook six days ago) Funny how only certain specific festivals are falling victim to "ongoing COVID ramifications", especially given this one took place last year while there were still restrictions in place.
  5. Yeah, that was me - as with Sudan Archives, that the story had a specific date for other festivals made me think they were doing the same for EOTR.
  6. Keg on Thursday, according to the press release for their new EP.
  7. Wonder if that confirms they'll be taking that Idles/Fontaines/Dry Cleaning Big Top headliner slot.
  8. Due to "Covid's ongoing impact on customer confidence & ticket sales", which were of course of no concern whatsoever when they revealed the day splits exactly one month earlier, or indeed to a lot of other festivals in May. The response to the tweet has been one like and four refund demands.
  9. GM tweeted to a couple who asked that he has health issues but they hope to have him over next year.
  10. The lineup page seems to claim it'll be their first proper gig back (they played some songs - here's one - at the launch of one of Kate's art installations at the end of last year), though Kate says on her IG there may be warm-ups. From what I can make out it's seemingly just Kate and Dorian now and they're working on new stuff, which may be why it feels like a very low-key relaunch right now.
  11. Not as far as I can see, using the original graphic, the lineup page and Ctrl+F. Though they have moved a few names around.
  12. So of the 22 acts @lessthanwill1 predicted nine days ago, none are on the new announcement.
  13. Tune-Yards Mary Lattimore Donny Benét Carwyn Ellis & Rio18 w/BBC National Orchestra of Wales Nia Archives Sofia Kourtesis Nathan Fake (live) Penelope Isles Ural Thomas & The Pain El Goodo The Long Blondes (wait, what?) Charles Watson Art School Girlfriend Ethan P. Flynn John Mouse Honeyglaze Mandrake Handshake Rhodri Davies Cerys Hafana Eli Smart Bonnie Kemplay Joe & The Shitboys
  14. While we wait, I've been through the bulk of the official sites and gathered a few more self-confirmed days (for newcomers, we're assuming Beach House headline Friday, Kiwanuka Saturday and Kraftwerk Sunday): Thu: Metronomy, Yves Tumor Fri: Low, Mdou Moctar, Planningtorock, Modern Nature, Bess Atwell, Lucy Gooch Sat: Bicep, Arooj Aftab, Torres, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, Willie J Healey Sun: Ty Segall If anyone's going to try and put together a prospective line-up, be aware that Orchestra Baobab, The Murder Capital and Indigo De Souza are elsewhere on Saturday, while Arab Strap and WITCH are likewise for Sunday.
  15. Xenia Rubinos Saturday, Part Chimp Sunday
  16. They weren't last year, they were due to play the Big Top on Sunday but pulled out through Covid and were replaced by Porridge Radio.
  17. Went through a few official sites and found some more: Anais Mitchell and Dehd on Friday Emma-Jean Thackray and Los Bitchos on Saturday Scalping, Jana Horn and Lael Neale on Sunday Golden Dregs list Thursday, which might be the default but they're not using a Songkick-style outside source and they're in Manchester on Saturday and Moseley on Sunday (and they're EOTR's own, of course) Reviewing all that, I think we're short of a Woods sub and Garden headliner, which if Midlake and Soccer Mommy really are around...
  18. Graphic on Sudan Archives' IG seems to suggest she's playing Thursday.
  19. Given he was going to headline last year I assumed he'd be a Woods sub, and in that case it may as well be to the main headliner.
  20. I was thinking she'd be just as much an intimate sleeper hit in the Tipi, but given she was a success on the Green Man Mountain stage last year you could probably put her anywhere - which is why her scheduling before pulling out on Talking Heads mid-afternoon last year was disappointing.
  21. Ryley Walker and Gwenifer Raymond, who are touring together the preceding week, on Sunday.
  22. I already knew Battles were in the country for EOTR weekend, which made it odd that they weren't announced for that, but according to their new tour dates they'll be in Europe around GM too.
  23. I tried that but the earliest capture is from 2008. Kind of surprising Sharon van Etten's never played.
  24. To throw in a couple of decent size names, Spoon's last UK outdoor gig was All Points East 2018, before that Latitude 2010 (which I was at but have no memory of seeing them), and Sleater-Kinney haven't played one since they reformed. I wonder if anyone has the dream booking list that was on the EOTR Myspace page in the festival's first year? I'm sure someone found and posted it on here years ago but the search isn't bringing anything up.
