Axl basically did the same with the other members of GNR last night when they did that Velvet Revolver cover!
-
His comments yesterday about how that was probably the last time they'd see him this year.
-
QOTSA sounding like an absolute machine. If Capaldi pulls out of Leeds and they're his replacement I may be tempted back with a day ticket.
-
Going straight into Go With The Flow as their first song, what a start.

Are they fussed about Elton?
-
I don't know if even a reformed Oasis could outdo that crowd. Maybe Led Zeppelin if the impossible happens and they reform.
-
Royal Blood were big, loud and powerful. This is just choreographed silliness set to a backing track which sounds like any old song they play on Capital FM. I can't imagine many batting an eye at this if it followed someone of the calibre the Foos.
-
I get that Elton will be a monumental occasion for a number of reasons but I'll be tuning over to QOTSA myself. Their new album is a total cracker and their recent live shows look superb. I just hope they roll out Paper Machete tonight.
-
No one mentioned him being black. His skin colour is nothing to do with his music being crap. There's only one Nas and this guy is not fit to lace his boots.
-
Just catching up on The Hu. I remember jokingly suggesting them last year to add more diversity to the line-up but I didn't actually expect the Eavii to do so. And on West Holts too, what an odd placement! They're brilliant though. Long live the great horde.
-
Paramore will probably finish up touring this album and then take a break for 2024.
-
If so, get QOTSA in. They owe us for 2021, their new album is cracking, they love the festival and have a strong history with it, and they have a huge gap in their schedule around then. I can't think of anyone else who would realistically fill that MSE headline slot. For that sub slot...I dunno. Probably The Vaccines or Blossoms, no doubt.
-
Will lose respect for him if, before he goes off stage, he doesn't stroll up to the mic and say "hi Axl! Hi Axl! Where's Axl? Hi Axl! Hi Axl!"
-
I've also only just realised how much Axl Rose looks like Michael McKean.
-
Was never going to be a perfect headline performance, but a massive, massive improvement on last night's dirge.
-
The nu metal thing with her feels a bit forced. A bit like MGK or Yungblud doing "pop punk".
-
This is good. Axl's voice is a little ropey but otherwise, very very solid indeed. Not sure what that Velvet Revolver cover was about though, mind. Axl attempting high notes on a song in which Scott Weiland didn't hit any high notes.
-
That was pretty much the perfect Manics setlist that they could fill an hour or so slot with. All the big hits, but also plenty of fan favourites and deep cuts too.
-
The crowd aren't even arsed about A Design For Life.
-
Their crowd are sh*t. Sad to see because they are a great band who always put their all into every live performance. It was the same the last two times I've seen them as well.
-
The Manics are running late.
-
He's the most Fiat 500 Deano LADbible pandering person going, and his music is dull, dreary dirge.
-
Are the mighty Hu going to be on BBC tomorrow? It will be interesting to see how their music will resonate with the Glasto crowd!
