Forgot this thread existed... anyone got a roundup of all the rumoured updates across the site? I'm an explorer so this makes me more excited than the headliners to be honest... doesn't seem to be any groundbreaking new concepts this year though...?

Think I could be at WH a fair bit this year! That playlist is stacked for me, going to take some strong competition. The supposed headliners are not really my cup of tea this year but I've got a feeling it's going to be a chocka undercard 😱

They said they agree with me on diversity but we should just 'let it happen' Their original statement was because they don't like people focusing on female headliners. But there's a reason why it's important

*face palm* 🤦🏼‍♀️ Over the last 10 years only 6% of festival lineups have been female. Last year, at Glastonbury, male acts were almost double. And as for 'Let it happen'.... what?! A well documented history of inequality, misogyny and abuse in the industry needs ACTIVE work to correct the imbalance...same as all inequalities. Not just 'letting it happen.' And you're feeling like men are becoming 'less important' 😭 - that sounds like a you problem to me! Might be off topic but this nonsense needs a response

It's not going to be an intentional IWD announcement... But that's not going to be because some men would be upset that they're suddenly less important to Emily. BUT it IS important that we keep talking about the fact that women still don't have an equal share. ALL representation matters and yes we should be digging out and celebrating diversity and elevating it!

You're digging yourself deeper... so by (hypothetically) celebrating the fact that women finally have an equal or more share of a (hypothetical) lineup at glastonbury after all those years of men absolutely DOMINATING the industry.... Found the most amazing arancini stall in 2022, got my husband and kids all worked up for it last year and then it wasn't back!!! Gutted. Fingers crossed they make a come back!

Just ended up down a youtube rabbit hole out of interest as I know they were about last year. We may have missed out on them last year on that merit... yeh the hips not so much any more 🤣 But vocals and band still sounding great...I stand by my choice and rather jel you got to see them last time!
