  1. Those Timetable changes don't make sense at all, why is there a 45 min gap between Nick Cave and Gorillaz now? Really just loosening the Bauhaus clash? Any other changes besides that and Mdou Moctar/AG Cook?
  2. Its also quite weird to not print books for environmental reasons but print thousands of free shirts, and let your event be sponsored by cars and crypto, two of the most environmentally devestating technologies existing
  3. Hey everbody my new book about the VIP experience at Primavera is out next month its called Nick Cave and the Bad Seats
  4. So the free t-shirt for ticket-keepers will be available from 31st of May.... but apparently not on site!? https://www.primaverasound.com/en/barcelona/pull-camisetas
  5. Other than the last years, there is an extra exit right at Mordor, so if people wanna go home, they don't have to walk all through the site. Also increased shuttle Bus frequency and 24h Tram service will mean less congestions Thursday and Friday nights
  6. I guess the increased price of all things involved, the higher risk of getting sick, the longer time span between buying the ticket and actually being able to make concrete plans and Covid and UK travel issues, contribute to the high number of ticket sales as well as the fact that its much easier to sell your ticket this year than ever before. Oh and also two weekends of course. Don't expect it to be less or more crowded thn 2019, maybe a bit less dense, seeing that there now are different options to get home at night
  7. Certainly not quieter, but probably less crowded. Personally, I think 30 minutes from Mordor to Bits is somewhat optimistic.
  8. I guessed 13 Meters correctly but I had my money on a Pull Those stands at the Mordor stages will have perfect sight on the FOS Tower, what more could you ask for?
  9. Indeed. But that would be a total waste of space in front of that stage and double the time needed to change between the two stages as well as creating a totally unneccessary bottleneck. Lets just hope they don't do that. Also, the map doesn't show why they'd need to move the stage further towards the grass ramp.
  10. Adding to this: has anyone had experience with stuff like "Rave Doctor" or other vitamin mixtures at festivals? Guess I could use some extra vitamins 😄
  11. However, the map shows a Bar where the 2017 "hidden stage" (in plain sight right by the entrance of the festival but hey) that Arcade Fire played their suprise Gig on was located. Since its a corner of the festival where nothing else happens, a bar would only make sense if there is a stage...
  12. Saw them in 2018 and enjoyed it, though it was very short and had hardly any songs from my favourite records, I Can Hear the Heart Beating as One & And Then Nothing Turned Itself Inside Out
  13. The new exit from the main stages is really great, sparing us unneccessary walks across the entire site to get out and will probably relieve the density Problem at Ray Ban (RIP) late at night. But it will also be more tempting to leave after the headliners instead of watching that 3:00 AM Gig at Pitchfork (RIP)
  14. In 2016 we were told that its because they can explode. Probably a policy to ban sunsprays in deodorant like cans that are under pressure, but as the majority of spray-sunscreen for obvious reasons isn't in those, I always felt it to be quite stupid.
  15. Friends of mine have had their pockets slit and valuables stolen at PS, friends of mine who lived in BCN had their phones just snapped out of their hands around the city several times. Its not much worse than in any other tourist city, but its definitely a thing. Don't take unneccessary things with you, leave all cards you dont need at home, don't bring too much cash. Never put any valuables in your back pockets or in any bag thats not directly on your body. In the city, don't wear your backpacks on the front, only signals you have valuables in there.
  16. The area on both side is yellow on the maps, which I assume means VIP area, so probably VIP only on the bridge indeed
  17. I do see their points, but I still don't see why someone would be obliged to speak out against Russian agression just because they are a Russian citizen. In an autocratic state like Russia, people have little power against their governments and putting responsibility for the states actions on the citizens doesn't make sense, even if they are prominent. As for the USSR-affection, neither do I see where that comes in in this discussion, nor is that something unique to Nina Kraviz. USSR-nostalgia is just an immensily hip part of current "counter"culture and tying this to a support of Putin or the war just seems immensly fabricated. Anyway, I couldn't care less, if she drops off, saw her once, was a snooze, not doing it again.
  18. I don't really care about Nina Kraviz, nor will I be at BotB but this is somewhat ridiculous.Expecting her to speak out, simply because she is Russian, seems like a weird sort of essentialism to me. Being outspoken against Putin can get you into jail in Russia and Europeans that have nothing to fear from speaking our mind should not hold someone to such standards, to whom this freedom doesn't extend. And the evidence of her being "pro-Putin" is effy at best.
  19. From what I've heard thats his standard festival set and he just doesn't want to play longer
  20. Now I can finally say it: THIS IS GONNA BE SO FCKING GOOD
  21. It seems to me like it isn't since it doesn't have the red and green arrows. Also someone said something about possible closure because of it being to narrow?
  22. Without the Bridge, the Bits area really isn't an option for me anymore at anytime.
  23. It could've been much worse, all in all I'm happy. Have some odd gaps which I'll try to fill when the clashfinder ist out. The Armed vs. Yo La Tengo bugs me so does Autechre vs Weyes Blood and Big Thief vs. Slowdive. But all decisions I can make without tearing apart A real plus is the set times at the Auditori. Can Easily see Low, Jenny Hval and The Caretaker w/o missing anything anywhere else, w/o wasting energy and w/o too much heat
  24. The Smile on Cupra is outright Dangerous
  25. Bauhaus vs Nick Cave is brutal and Weyes Blood vs Autechre Also Big Thief on the former Pitchforf seems way too small
