  1. At this point I'm sure there will not be a replacement. I was wrong about many things many times, and I hope that I continue to be, but I don't see who they'd pull on such short notice in the craziest year in recent festival history.
  2. Suprise is that its actually happening
  3. Really don't believe in that anymore noticably, Kacey is still on. Althoug the dropouts are disappointing in sum, I'm sort of amazed how they manage to juggle stuff around, move acts between days or Weekends and bring in new ones.
  4. I've seen many festivals do this lately and its quite understandable. Normally you'd reconfirm acts around now, but the pandemic struggles mean, they'll have to do that later. I'd expect an announcement shortly before the timetable with the combined cancellations with final acts/replacements. Kacey Musgraves dropping out ist also completely unconfirmed yet from any side but Pinkpop. It might just be a scheduling issue.
  5. This puts it well. I used to be quite a Ryan Adams fan but his actions and his apparent disinterest in taking any responsibility have spoilt his music for me
  6. I say this as someone who could not give a fuck about Travis Scott, but the blame for the Astroworld Disaster should obviously be with Live Nation and not him personally.
  7. This is a pretty strong Line Up for the inaugural edition
  8. Its a pretty demanding thing to get into King Gizz now, considering they'll not repeat songs across their 6 gigs and you'll have to be very deep into their catalogue to know enough songs 😄
  9. Honestly, this is probably just some backend-frontend webdesign issue. Noone outside this forum checks the website regularly before being told so by a social Media post. Everything thats necessary to know (Timetable, midweek tix, Hidden stage) could easily be announced within a week.
  10. I also think we'll get information later than usual, because set times and co will be announced for both weekends simultaneously, so rather two weeks before WE1 than the usual 3-4.
  11. One of the reasons for this drop in content is just - as always - Corona. Festival promoters everywhere had to cut costs and let go staff, and creators were the first to be laid off. Moreover, as many promoters do not have their own teams, they used specialized agencies that, because there were no jobs at all during covid, had to lay off many people too or closed alltogether. Now that everything is running again, there is a massive lack of content creators in the music industry, since many of them just went into other sectors. Availability is slowly recovering, but many promoters have as of now still not found time and money to re-establish their (visual) communications teams. And to be fair: PS doesn't need to put an emphasis on that now.
  12. Yeah that makes them totally unlikely (which they were before tbh).
  13. Well I mean, they know where it is now, Heineken can't re-hide it.
  14. If thats true, I'll be filing for bankruptcy after PS
  15. I doubt AF will make it to Europe this year. Filling in at home or doing Promo Gigs at Coachella is a very different thing than doing a EU Tour. Would love it, but I think its highly unlikely.
  16. you are allowed to bring a 0,33l bottle of water without the lid. Lid goes in the shoe/Bra/whatever and you are good to bring any clear spirit. In five years that always did the trick. One Guard smelled my bottle of Gin, winked and let me in either way. Was a very cheap way to get wasted, especially when softs where 2,50 at the bars. I'll cut down on the alcohol this time though.
  17. Its important not to by from the walking bars, they charged a friend 11€ for a 0,5l in 2015 😄 last I remember it was 4€ (?) for 0,35l so neither cheap nor expensive. However if its Heineken still, any price is too high and I'll go for Tonic + smuggled-in Gin
  18. I really like when festivals do that but I would never have time for that at PS
  19. More wild Speculation: If Grimes is there for a DJ Set and a headline Slot opened up, why not make her do a whole set?
  20. I usually get there around 5ish, always fun to see the less crowded early shows
  21. I'm 28 and I honestly have no idea how i am going to survive this. Also I'll go right into a new job when I'm back from PS. RIP Me
  22. The Main Stages close at 3am, the last headliner typically ends arond 1:30 am
  23. There is no way I am holding out til 5 all the days. Reckon E-Scooters may be around now, could actually be a reasonable way of transport at night but will also lead to many drunk accidents.
