  1. Hi folks - apols if this has already been answered! I had a scan and couldn't find anything. We're getting the coach this year arriving ~6am, and are hoping to camp with friends at Big Ground. Does anyone know roughly how long the walk from gate A would be (ofc with a margin of error for the heavy load)? We're considering switching some of our stuff for a friend's tent so would be good to gauge how the trek will be.

    Dua Lipa

I've been a big fan since her debut. Enjoyed the new record on first listen but reckon it'll a grower which the singles were for me too. Was a little conflicted initially with seeing her or Jungle, but I think I've gotta go with my girly and hope to find some other babes to party with in the crowd. Really excited to see her!
  3. Praying right there with you!!
  4. Ahh thanks so much for the walking boot recs all! Good to know I'll be able to get some reasonable ones for this purpose for cheaper than I thought. Will definitely try to head in-store to try them on as well.
  5. Welcoming recommendations for hiking/walking boots - ready to leave my wellies and destroyed converse behind. Bonus points for ones good for narrow feet, high arches and supination/underpronation (I'm really fun at parties)
  6. I've not personally camped at Paines but have been just over the hedge in Dairy 3 times and I remember it being pretty flat/even from walking past it multiple times a day
  7. Dairy is solid for a flat time - significantly noisier (and a bit more popular) since Silver Hayes upped its game but no where near as noisy as Pennards and the like.

Wow strike that, GA tier 2 for £100 each before fees AND they were gone at 10:02? HAHAH

My presale email for Robbie lists him as a UK-festival exclusive performance, so I can't miss out on that if he won't be at Glasto
  10. Perfect, thanks so much for confirming! This year we went with See Coaches and had the grim traffic from o2 so didn't get there until 12/1, at which point there was obviously no coach queue. We've booked thanks to your recommendations/help, and are indeed looking at Wed departure, arriving around 7, so expect to join a queue but grand to hear it is remains coach-side of gate A.
  11. Really helpful, thanks so much! Based on that, I think if we know we don't really have another route there (that we can trust at this point, relying on friends to be able to still attend come next year etc), we'll grab now and take a calculated risk on attendance - not much could keep me away! Glad to hear yours are sorted! I have one last question if you've used Nat Ex in the past - I've noticed that their departure times are as early as Tue. I know that the coach station comes into Gate A. For pre-gate coach arrivals, do you know if there a zig-zag queue system in the same coach area of gate A, or if you get put in the queue with the carpark folk?
  12. Hi all, Hopefully this is the right place to ask! Very luckily managed to bag general sale tickets after a failed attempt on the Thursday. My partner and I are looking at booking a coach return with National Express from London Victoria. At the moment it's looking to be around £90pp which is more than the package would've been, but nothing too horrific. I'm keen to get our transport sorted for peace of mind, but my partner has fairly raised that there may be no harm in waiting until we've paid off the balance in April (in case there is a change in circumstance, albeit we are very committed). I just wouldn't want to risk there being rubbish/expensive transport options left. As such, I'd appreciate any experience people have on the following: 1. Does the availability for National Express tend to be pretty abundant until well into next year when most people will have formally committed to their attendance? 2. Does the price change much / go up nearer the time, and by how much? Any other views you might have are very much welcomed!
  13. After shitting myself, I refreshed a few times and finally got the page. The URL changed so at least for me (and my result) it felt fairly safe/the only option to refresh.
  14. Finally got through and checked out at 9:53, cutting it mighty fine! Deposits button popped up on the phone and once clicked, immediately went blank - the speed at which my stomach fell out of my arse is quite something. Got it back in the end though.
  15. Yeah unfortunately it'll probably happen for a while! Last year I think after it was announced it was sold out, some people did still manage sneak through up to 20 mins later. People will be hoping that's them. Need to peel myself away and get a McDonalds to cry into
  16. Ugh god, brutal! Did you get through in the end?

    Arctic Monkeys

Ugh man, I'll be bummed out if they have to cancel. Foos totally worthy but I'm just not as fussed.
  18. I'll do my bit and wear my wellies on the coach - if all goes well they will end up being my travel shoes, and my converse will carry me through the rest. Can't believe we're nearly there!
  19. I seem to remember the overnight temps last year being around 10-11 degrees? So fairly happy with the lowest ones. I feel like I'm going to struggle on the Sunday, Elton take the wheel edit: evening to overnight
  20. It's sad (So sad), so sad It's a sad, sad situation
  21. Enjoying going with a smaller crowd this year - spending less time trying to coordinate with sh*t signal, and instead just soaking in the beauty and joy individually, with my partner, and whoever we find ourselves around. So happy to be sharing this with you all once again!
  22. Sweet f**k all, but popping in here to get my arse in gear! Just booked a haircut which is much needed before I go. I second that I feel non-committal about starting the clothes pack until I know what the weather is likely to do - in terms of footwear I'm considering buying new wellies as mine have seen better days, and I know you'll all encourage the purchase to ensure a dry week! We got a brand new tent but should get it out and give it a test run first. Food and drink wise we're pretty much there, so probably less to do than I think but I still have that feeling that I'm really behind. First time we're doing coach package so feels odd not to have the ticket in my hands yet!
  23. Going by previous years, when are we due another drop of act/s?
