I don't think this has been communicated yet. In previous years, when the Wednesday gigs were at the Forum, you could turn up, get your band, enjoy the free gig and go. The last time I went, the wristbands were also available from city centre venues which were used for other gigs - Razzmatazz etc. And if none of those suit, you can rock up on the Thursday and join what is usually a pretty long queue. Id expect the Wednesday gig venues will be doing the swap.

I'm mostly delighted with that. One or two clashes and a few acts I won't see, but nothing to lose sleep over! Low at the Auditori is a lovely surprise. How busy do these shows get? I assumed they'd be a 9pm on Ray Ban type of gig so thought I'd miss it. Caribou and Jamie xx overlap is no good, but I can see most of both. Clever scheduling - both Little Simz and Beck gigs clash so can catch one on Friday and one in Sunday and be happy. All ref weekend one...

I would be very happy with this. Fred Again to finish off a night of Pavement and Tame Impala would be a good start. No doubt, I'd have time for a few extras too. What else have you got in store for us in your timetable, Orens? In the absence of a real one, I'm gonna start living through the posters here!

I've never been to a club show - because of all these reasons. I'm aiming to rectify that this time but every other year, ive had flights to catch, or killer hangovers, or just a nice spot on the beach! Thinking I'll try Little Simz on the Sunday of weekend 1 if I don't catch her at the weekend.

Cant argue with any of this. Excited to see them too - but slight reservation that their festival shows don't hit quite as well as their standalone indoor shows. Still, a gem of a band and I can't wait to see them.

And I've got five or six others on that day I'm keen on too. Such a stacked day. The upside means I'm gonna have an absolutely brilliant day regardless, even though I'll miss a couple.

Just weekend 1 for me but the two unmissables (unless they clash with each other!!) D1: Pavement, Tame Impala D2: The Strokes, Caribou D3: Gorillaz, Beach House (no, Nick Cave. No, Beach House.. Fuck...) Most of them are first time for me too so that's even more exciting.

I'm only checking out The Armed for the first time. They could make it onto my list...

I think it's pretty clear that quite a few of us lost our minds some time ago.

This is me trying to barter with the timetable gods - for me, the lesser of two evils in the clash would be Tyler with Beach House. That's an easy pick for me. But Gorillaz (or Nick Cave) would be much tougher.

God I hope Beach House does clash with Tyler. I'm afraid they'll clash with Gorillaz. God I could do with a surprise overnight timetable drop.

I think I can narrow it down to Beach House and Gorillaz. There's probably 30+ others, but lots that I've seen before and some that I could take a chance on or skip depending on the group I'm with. There's about a dozen of us, so we'll split off in different directions I'd say. Its a really stacked bill, so I'm looking forward to it. But I won't be overly rigid with the timetable as I'd only ruin the experience for myself running to the beach and back!

Other than timetable and map, is there anything other info expected this week? I think there used be different announcements for Pitchfork, and some vague food listing, so are we likely to get those today instead, I wonder?

I was just asking someone today if this was new, or had it always said this on the poster. We took it to just mean a greater differentiation between A La Ciutat and the main event, but the expansion makes more sense. And without wanting to go back over old ground, do we have enough acts announced to fill out extra stages if it is a major expansion? Or are we thinking that it's going to mean more space for existing stages for the bigger crowds, so no extra acts needed?

I just can't think of what changes could be included on the map that would elicit any sort of massive response, unless something like the former Ray Ban stage has just sunk into the sea.

Id say the 2018 Bad Seeds tour would be a better indication, but a lot of time has passed so they may tear it up entirely. I'm very pleased they're still heading out. It would have been very understandable if not, but I love their music and they're among my most anticipated acts of the first weekend. Also hoping to get Map-Gate out of the way tomorrow.

First port of call for me is gonna be weekend 1 Saturday. Such a stacked day - I know its unlikely now, but I'd be very happy if they moved one or two to the Thursday to fill gaps and reduce my clash chances!! Nick Cave, Beach House, Idles and Gorillaz are my top ones that day and I wouldn't be shocked if 2 or 3 clashed.

Would be great if they'd let people bring in reusable bottles. The lid situation is a pain - I'd be more than happy to carry around my reusable bottle and refill. I'll even bring it in empty so they don't have to worry about me smuggling booze!

So that new Kendrick Lamar record is magic. Here's hoping for 2023 headliner (... Massive Attack replacement...) Next up, the Smile... Reviews v strong. Very jealous of the weekend 2ers again. Any other new stuff out today worth digging into?

It works at a camping festival - hand them out on the way in, set up your tent and leave it in there while you head on about your day. But I reckon you'll be finding a heap of those discarded around the place. They're a nice novelty, but I wonder would it be better to hand them over on the way out of the festival on the last day, or at the wristband collection spots before the festival. Maybe they will sure. Small complaints, in the grand scheme of things!!

I always thought these were a funny thing to hand out at festivals - who wants to carry a book around all evening?! Give me an extra €5 in the drinks credit...

Are there any other Covid rules in Spain? Practically no restrictions in my country so I had almost forgotten I'd need a mask etc. Do they have specific requirements on the type of mask? Sorry, maybe someone could just advise where they post the updated info!
