  1. oh, well their new single drops at 10am today (I think) so maybe then we’ll get something. Four nights seems quite optimistic considering they did Ally Pally last time round, and 4 Brixton shows is over double that total capacity
  2. ticket snagged earlier today for Dave Longstreth at the Barbican . It seems to be an evening of new music performed by him and stargaze, and some Dirty Projectors stuff just for good measure. seeing the group at Village Underground was a live highlight of whatever-year-that-was
  3. Flume at KOKO, July 11th. A fairly intimate gig for him - I think the last time he was in London, he did Ally Pally and sold it out pretty quickly
  4. the Brixton Academy mailing list email is promising quite a night for those in attendance at those upcoming LCD shows
  5. Sky Ferreira playing Meltdown Festival at Southbank Centre on Thursday 16th June at 11pm. Tickets on sale Friday, £40
  6. the LCD Soundsystem ticket prices are, at the very least, odd. Wed 29 June and Sun 3rd July work out at £55.42 with fees included, the other two are £68.98. so unless they're planning on being slightly worse on two dates, I'm not too sure why
  7. when do you all think he will slot his UK stadium shows in? presumably before these dates if he wants a stadium before the next sporting calendar kicks off
  8. Ah I wish there was an option to do a 2-day ticket across two sites (like Tyler and SZA). because although it is very hard to base it off just the headliners but charging more than a Reading day ticket seems quite off
  9. Moses Sumney playing Koko on Tuesday 28th June, tickets on sale tomorrow. a possibility for the farm? Park stage would be a tidy fit
  10. supported by George Fitzgerald, Tora-i and oklou (DJ set)
  11. The Weeknd at The People’s Pension Stadium, Crawley has a good ring to it
  12. Teenage Cancer Trust gigs at the RAH confirmed by the Metro: The Who (acoustic), Madness, Ed Sheeran, Yungblud, Liam Gallagher, Don Broco and Joel Dommett Edit: all dates are here https://www.teenagecancertrust.org/events/music-and-entertainment/teenage-cancer-trust-concert-royal-albert-hall
  13. according to Concorde 2’s instagram, there’s a “big gig announcement” at 4pm today. might be an act doing an album release show with Resident, like IDLES have done previously also anyone have any ideas what Eat Your Own Ears are promoting these past couple days? might be a massive gig, might just be a rebrand
  14. On a comedown from a pretty great gig stretch - four in five days. Caribou at Brighton Dome was great - seemed a tad quiet for a gig supposedly close to selling out for months. But the new stuff sounds great live. On Monday, I saw Mustafa at Union Chapel - can't remember if it got a mention here but it went on sale a week before the show and sold out that day. A stunning gig tbh; such a good venue and his performance was very impressive. Also a surprise appearance from Sampha is always appreciated Then being in the pit for Turnstile at both their London gigs was just a blast. Two of the best shows I've been to. def worth a watch either at Outbreak or 2000 Trees if you're going to those
  15. edit- just found a more suitable thread! instead, an offering of Kacey Musgraves at Hampton Court Palace on Wednesday 22nd June
  16. The Smile tour announced. priced slightly more reasonably at £49.50 + fees for the Roundhouse shows
  17. on this poster, it looks like gigs in Brighton and London are blurred out/TBA
  18. their sales could do with a boost
  19. unfortunately Lovebox has cancelled its 2022 edition - it did so a couple weeks back completely under the radar. they emailed those who had purchased presale tickets (me included) and didn't give a reason for it; refunded all tickets. I'm not sure what that would do for things like embargoes but I'd imagine Tyler is a very big shout for this
  20. Caribou confirming on twitter that all his tour dates are set to proceed as normal - fingers crossed for this one!
  21. in the bleak absence of eF that was the past six weeks, i grabbed tickets for Olivia Rodrigo, Porter Robinson (on my birthday), Genesis Owusu and Jungle my Jan gigs include GY!BE, Idles, Wolf Alice and Caribou. hoping they are all given the go-ahead (if safe to do so, naturally). a third reschedule for the latter would certainly be impressive
