  1. Great to hear . Live stuff often sounds shit on TV compared to being there . Hope u had a great night
  2. It's not been what I expected sound all over the place strange setlist but good for Paul to still be at it at 80 and having the love to have Dave and Bruce fly in especially
  3. Yes my wife is massive foos fan can't say I am but dave is such a cool guy u have to love him
  4. Totally I so wish I was there
  5. Unbelievable as you say
  6. It's difficult to go against macca even those who may not be big fans will take the chance to see him . I'm sure other headliners will get decent crowds through their own fan base people who aren't interested in macca and those to gone to move
  7. Saw few min of OR will catch up via I player tomorrow crowd looked massive as did crowd for noel . If a lot of OR Crowd try to get over for macca blimey that will be a packed crowd
  8. First 7 or 8 all high flying birds then rest oasis ...but as u say all his songs anyway
  9. He joked about first 7 or 8 being for him high flying birds songs then the rest being for crowd all oasis
  10. Stay safe everyone take what time you can . I do wonder if it's the split on clashes some genres will attractive massive percentages of the overall capacity
  11. Enjoyed crowded house . Caught a bit of Sleaford mods just really enjoying first aid kit on top form
  12. Also saw beck last night lots of energy and a great set list. First time I've been to Victoria warehouse must admit its god awful for finding anywhere to park.....I suppose Harry styles being on at old Trafford didn't help . Plus Victoria warehouse is ridiculously hot inside . Anyway ignoring that really good gig

    Kate Bush

Agree going to one of the Hammersmith apollo concerts was one of the best things I've ever seen . Been a massive fan since 70s and couldn't believe she did them gigs after 35 years of not playing live. But be amazed if she ever did anything live again and it certainly wouldn't be a greatest hits type concert. The last one was basically a lot of hounds of love and aerial and very few singles.
  14. Similar I talked my wife into going 2016 not her cup of tea but she stuck with it and enjoyed despite the horrendous mud . I did compromise by booking worthy view there was no way I wanted to risk trying to put up a tent in a rainstorm and being surrounded by party people 🙃 😅. She said that's done as a one off ....managed to get her back for 2017 and 2019 . But that's her done . Not going this year but ticket gods allowing I'll be back in next couple of years .
  15. My mate saw him in Blackburn said he was best he'd seen him in a long time
  16. Saw goldfrapp Manchester Albert Hall last night tbh after waiting 2 years was just a bit disappointing. Alison sounded great the band were fine but it was so one paced it never got going . Others may disagree but having seen them a few times Inc at Glastonbury it just was flat
  17. Saw future islands in Manchester last week Sam is truly a wonderful front man who lives and breathes every song and every emotion . His relationship with the crowd is wonderful
  18. I'm totally biased as bunnymen one of my fave live bands . They were great in Manchester last month . They still have a reasonably decent following. John peel would be ideal location for them probably early evening slot. Days of anywhere bigger gone im afraid
  19. A massive loss to all his family friends band mates and fans just far to soon . So sad
  20. Future islands Manchester academy last night . Sound was a bit iffy at start but sorted quickly great gig and crowd were well into it which created great atmosphere
  21. Saw echo and the bunnymen at Manchester Albert Hall Friday mac will and the boys on top form
