9 hours ago, chickenfire said: Saw Florence and the Machine at the Hydro last week and it was very good. Better than the last couple of times seeing her. A few of the new album tracks were highlights. However, she was absolutely trumped by Carly Rae Jepsen last night at the Academy. What a joy. Going to Young Fathers in Edinburgh on Friday which should be amazing. Hopefully get closer to an hour but I’ll take less if it’s as good as previous posters have said. I'm seeing them in Manchester really looking forward to it last time I saw them only played just over an hour but packed in so much energy it was unreal. -
Burt truly one of the greatest song writers of all time so many songs remind me of the albums my parents played as I began my musical journey . Look through the legacy he left us its staggering

Beth orton Royal Northern college of music sat. First time I've been there nice venue . Surprised for a music college thought sound was a bit off . Beth relied heavily on new album which is a good album . Enjoyable gig if very low key -
Mortimer and whitehouse is like a haven of calm and tranquility just two men heading for old age enjoying each others company laughing chewing the fat . It's perfect TV for me .
-
Queen are the most overated band ever and stop with the endless documentaries and films about them . Plus when Freddie died so should the band .
