I was doing a similar thing earlier and it occurred to me that since Glastonbury we've had 4 chancellors, 3 home secretaries and we're on the verge of a 3rd PM... madness. If it was a recruitment agency filling these posts you'd sack them off for being so shit.

Presumably as mortgages go up so will rents which will make it even harder for first time buyers to save any kind of a deposit... the whole housing market needs some sort of shake up really or the government needs to meet/exceed their targets on housebuilding.

Went to the sheffield one, bit of a disappointing turnout to be honest... plus the 'Enough Is Enough' chant brings back memories of the Covid thread which is annoying. Still though... Enough Is Enough.

As well as the 'Enough Is Enough' protests tomorrow there's also a handful of protests about the bullshit that's going on in Iran... sadly none in Sheffield though.

In Liberia in 1927 a politician got 240000 votes despite there only being 15000 registered voters... at least the Russians are trying to make it look believable even though to the world the corruption is equally transparent.
