Dizraeli's doing a DJ set at the Rum Shack 2-3 on the Saturday and playing the Cornish Arms 10pm on the Thursday... a bit eclectic so not just rap/hip hop but might be worth a listen. Would also be interested in some recommendations though.. seems lacking though that's usually the case. @Haan is a bit of a hip hop/rap oracle round these parts... any suggestions pal?

Only started watching the show late so have avoided this thread to avoid any spoilers but had to come on to mention this quote ... if I was Orbital I would have that on every bit of promotional merchandise I ever published... "our music is bearable according to Michael Eavis, but our lights are fantastic!". Fucking wonderful stuff.

I just wrote a long rant about tonight's Question Time and how pissed off i was with the state of the country/world we live in but deleted it as I couldn't be arsed with anyone arguing that the majority of the (mostly male) audience tonight weren't knobheads. We need more normal (female it seems) politicians in power whose interest lie in their local community and helping people out rather than the bunch of egotistical knobheads we've got. The likes of Dorries, Patel & Truss ruin my argument but rant over... if you didn't watch it, don't bother. Depressing stuff. Really seems we're gonna be stuck with the Tories for a long time.

It is strange as they have more than enough material which is why I wonder whether it was their choice... maybe they don't want to repeat stuff from their spoken word set? God knows, I'm actually more disappointed that they're on the other stage than anything else... probably my least favourite stage. Will still be there though regardless... let's hope they pull another 'People's Faces' out of the bag.

Could it be at their request? They're the only one on the other stage doing a 45 min set... all other acts have an hour.

I'm gutted about The Lathums as I thought they'd self confirmed... saw them earlier on in the year and they were amazing so they were gonna be one of my 'must sees'. I'm hoping they're one of the TBAs though that'll create another clash headache no doubt.

This is the official line so you might want to work some photoshop magic on their passport... you might get a sympathetic steward who's not arsed, I don't think I'd be able to tell a 12 year old from a 14 year old, but you might not. Big risk as they could all end up missing out.

I made some bad life choices in 2017... I was at Magic Numbers while any sane person was watching Chic, even they questioned the audiences state of mind for being there. Also went for Alt-J over the Foos that year which I still don't really fully understand. My head wasn't in the best place at the time but I still sometimes look in the mirror and think 'Dickhead'.

I got a couple of these in 2019 after a recommendation on here... was a bit of a game changer for getting rounds in or for when I didn't want to be fannying about queuing for drinks during a set.

You both know the history of festival far better than me... had always thought it was just Michael & Jean involved in the early years. Hadn't even heard of Arabella Churchill... apologies if it caused confusion.
