Goat Girl seem to have news on the way; been looking forward to some new music from them for a while.

Will Butler was a fantastic start to a potentially loaded day for me.

Fuck Egocentric Arseholes; Re-mask
They need the FEAR

I was at that night too. Fantastic performance, setlist, production, crowd, couldn't ask for much more.

The night that included that AF set was possibly my favourite of all those I've had on the farm. I do agree that the success of their next album will define what size festivals they'll be playing. They're not big enough to release dross/middle of the road material and get away with it.

A month ago I'd have been impressed that Jedward even knew who Van Morrison was. They've gone up in my estimation

Not heard anything from Young Knives since Weekends & Bleak Days (Hot Summer), didn't even realise they were still going.
That Sault album is good, I've overlooked them until now.

not Glastonbury, but this is great ....
That set is amongst the top in my festival highlight reel. Such an incredible performance, had the whole field bouncing at lunch time. RIP

I'd say that's more of a face covering personally

@sisco If you want value, there's the usual suspects around; Premier Inn, an Ibis and Ibis Budget all nearby (I'd say walking distance but might be a push with kids, the Ibis Budget is furthest away) but you will probably have to book them ASAP if you don't want to pay through the nose.
The camping is a relatively new addition and is a significant bus shuttle out of town. I've never used it but it might be worth checking out the 2019 thread to see if there was anyone reviewing them on there?

Short of an instant test, It’s all or nothing for me, there’s no practical steps you can take for 150k drunk/ wasted people mingling for 5 days, if one person got on site with it, literally everyone would get it.
They wouldn't though would they?
I get that the R would be a lot higher in a densely populated area with probably lower hand washing hygiene, but you only become contagious between 48 to 72 hours from catching it. So there could only be a couple of 'generations' of passing on the virus in the time that the site is open to the public.
I do agree that it would be problematic, and glory days for the same old paper that like to piss on our cornflakes, but I'm sure there will be indoor gigs/conventions/workplaces that will be worse for the nations healthcare.

Round 2 of those Passport: Back to Our Roots gigs announced on 7th

Someone on here once said 'It's a festival not a queue'. Wise words to use with those in the chairs

I'd be very surprised if a UK festival is planning to have no shelter from the elements for punters no matter what time of year it is.

Are Decathlon likely to have a sale between now & June, based on previous years?
Quite tempted by a fresh & black tent... 🙂 But on the other hand I own three tents already so could be a bit extravagant unless I can get it cheap!
They do have a sale on at the moment that includes 14% off their F&B 3 man. It's a great festival tent, would be perfect if it had a porch but good value at full price let alone £43

The first song on Kelly Lee Owens album was a bit of a surprise.
Enjoyed that enough to prioritise the album this morning even thought I've never heard of her and it's great. Cheers.

If those were the three headliners I'd be happy enough to see all 3, but even happier to miss them for clashes.

@Quark This is Happening is worth checking out too. Not as good as a complete album but Dance Yrself Clean and Home are fantastic bookends for a record, with some decent tracks between.

Has there been mention of support for the smaller venue tour? I can only hope it's half as good as Rattlesnakes/Porridge Radio (I don't know much about Yungblud)
