  1. Not that it was ever in any real doubt but it seems Maneskin are one of the headliners
  2. Tin foil hat time: I think Pearl Jam get announced today, because the intel has them as 'playing two festivals'. Many people have believed this is Mad Cool and Nos Alive, but Nos doesn't always have the bigger bands from Mad Cool and vice versa. Nos just announced The Breeders this morning, and I think it's unlikely they'd announce them the same day a couple of hours earlier than a major headliner. Plus, I can't see Pearl Jam playing Europe and skipping Werchter. We'll see soon enough I suppose...
  3. Whether it’s PJ or not, the best thing they could announce tomorrow is a return to IFEMA
  4. This is a solid rock/metal line up to be fair to them. Wonder if this means we're getting Evanescence next year? Noticed that they're about and was expecting them to be a logo band here.
  5. Yeah certainly seems that way. Hope The Postal Service and DCFC are finding their way onto other line ups, would be a great thing to see
  6. Screenshot incase it gets taken down
  7. https://x.com/meokalorama/status/1732520924459540838?s=46 no say this was surely meant to be revealed at 10pm at night?!
  8. Forgot about him, I’m praying that if he was going to be here he would be in the Barn opposite Foos or something
  9. It’s been mentioned but I think only Massive Attack has a realistic chance out of those for one reason or another. Pearl Jam tour comes out Monday apparently so we’ll see if they’re here then, but as it’s been suggested it feels like Werchter might be looking at the likes of Arcade Fire, KOL, QOTSA again to make fairly solid days of two or three bigger bands at the top of the main stage rather than a mega headliner each day
  10. Yeah very strange indeed. I feel like perhaps they're headlining Klub C or the Barn and they've been put here to reflect that? Totally, agree, Avril as 3rd down is a great booking. Perhaps a weak sub but considering how infrequently she tours/plays but it could be viable. 7-8pm when the beer is just starting to hit and we're all shouting the lyrics to 'Sk8r boi' though...
  11. I'm out of touch with modern music in this country these days, never mind abroad. But surely we aren't looking at a Khruangbin sub set here are we? Very odd placement on the poster
  12. That's strange about PD but I would expect them there now. Think we've lost Limp Bizkit to the Saturday of Graspop sadly but was hoping they would turn up here. Totally agree about Sum 41, think it would be a very weak sub, especially to what is probably the weakest headliner there. Yes I was also curious if there was more to be added to the top line, wonder if @Ken19 is able to shed any light/drop any hints?
  13. Out of that I would watch every band they've added to the Thursday, Bad Omens and The Beaches (!!! who have just recently got into these last few weeks but Blame My Ex is one of my favourite albums this year, buzzing about that), The Kooks and Arlo Parks on Saturday and Jungle and The Breeders on the Sunday. For as weak as the top is this year, undercard is shaping up amazingly for me.
  14. That's mostly a cracking set of additions that!
  15. Yeah 3rd from top feels about right for me. It's where they were due to play in 2022 before QOTSA withdrew from that edition.
  16. That's a great addition for me; saw them in Manchester a couple of weeks back and they look every inch a big band now. Difficult one to place though, playing lower slots at Pinkpop this year but headlining Tons of Rock. Interesting to see if they're the headliner or if they're on before Kravitz and someone else. Also wonder if this means an announcement is due?
  17. Feel like it’ll just go up in years until it’s the night before the announcement which says “We’ll see you in 2024”
  18. That's aged quite well looking at it but I'm sure I remember it getting absolutely torn apart on here when it was getting announced
  19. Yeah that’s true enough I suppose; and I have a feeling it’s going to be billed as Snow Patrol headlining with Fat Boy Slim as some sort of late night special
  20. Biffy must have cost a fortune if the other two days are topped by Jamie T and Fatboy Slim. Shame Pulp aren’t there but the undercard is fairly good for me
  21. That’s an LCD Soundsystem away from selling me a ticket that
  22. For a festival with the worst PR record in world music; this is quite something
  23. Headlining Tons of Rock in Oslo on the Saturday so I think that rules them out as they hardly ever play back to back due to the strain on Josh's voice.
  24. RHCP just announced a tour of North America finishing July 30th. Wonder if they then come to Europe for the festivals around here in August/September? Don’t think a run of Sziget, Pukkelpop, Lowlands, Electric Picnic, Cala Mijas and Kalorama is beyond the realms of possibility
  25. My word, the party in Klub C during Franz Ferdinand 5 minutes after the full time whistle went is among the best atmospheres I've ever been in for a show ever.
