I'm a bit panicky now, what percentage of tix went tonight? 10 of us trying Sunday, I'm starting to doubt it
Look on twitter for an indication. There's a lot of unhappy people

It's all luck I think. My strategy hasn't changed in the past 8 years I've been trying. Got through 4 of them, didn't get a sniff on the others but other members of the group have!

I refreshed (a lot)

Really hoping for Taylor Swift and Elton. Wouldn't watch many of the other names that have been thrown around

The pre-installed browser on my phone... I don't think the browser matters!

I've done it! I'll help others on here on Sunday, best of luck to those still trying

Ready to go. 2 laptops with the page already open and a spreadsheet with all codes required
Beer on my right in case of success, bleach on my left in case of failure

Hello all! Am not great with all the techie stuff so was wondering if someone could give me a simple answer to this! If me and all three of my flatmates are all trying for tickets on Sunday on our flat WiFi, are we best to just try on one device or should we all try on our laptops? I.e will it damage our chances to all be trying separately whilst connected to the same WiFi? Thanks in advance ☺️
Link the devices to different wifi devices. Tether to a phone or something

As someone who has previously sold Citrix I would advise you don't use Citrix for getting tickets

You have to be an idiot to fall for that

My boyfriend's mum and dad's house. It's like a tradition to try there now even though we moved out in 2015.
Did they move out too? If so I love the commitment

My internet speed is around 75mb. The device tethered to my phone is running at a pathetic 20mb

How are they going to verify this too?
Film themselves doing it. The biggest waste of money of all time in all honesty

The bad news is #glastonbury2020 is already trending...

2 devices with different IPs, 1 browser on each in incognito mode. That's all I'm using

Happy ticket day 1 everybody!

Eltons tickets flew off when first announced and the amount of dates he's doing on the tour in the UK alone is insane! Even at the crazy prices they have been selling extremely well (I'm going to one of the Birmingham dates for £100 a seat)

I've written my own script for refreshing the page this year using VBA and Selenium.
Using a Chrome browser, the script opens the holding page and will refresh every x seconds (x being whatever refresh rate I choose) until the URL changes.
Then if it sees 'addRegistration' in the URL it will populate the reg numbers and postcodes into the appropriate fields for each of the 6 in my group.
I've halted the script there as I want to proceed through the rest of the deposit payment manually myself, but there would be no reason why it couldn't complete the whole booking once I have confirmation of the URL's involved for each web page in the process (which I should be able to find out on Thursday).Bit of an experiment so I'll see how it goes!!
Wouldn't even know where to start to make this work. If it's successful can I suggest a webex for the efestivals community to set this up!
