Can see myself doing the full weekend this year for the first time since 2011
Some bands I expect/would like to see added:
Billy Talent (playing rock am, would put money on them turning up)
Steel Panther (UK tour and Andys favourites)
Sum 41 ( apparently doing the circuit next year)
Idles (would love it but think they will stick with reading, similar size to enter shikari so could headline 3rd)
Atreyu (only did slamdunk last year, new album and haven't had much uk presence since it's release, test the waters for a UK tour?)
Killswitch Engage (new album, be surprised if they aren't there)

ADTR or BMTH headlining I think. Would like Don Broco on the bill
-
Will offspring headline 2nd stage? I wouldn't want them clashing with any of the headliners tbh. Same applies for deftones
-
I don't understand why people would complain about a festival line up. If you don't like it no-one is forcing you to go

Never done the coach sale. When do you pick the location and time to leave?

I find having too many devices is a downfall and will just slow your refresh time. Jumping between 3 devices does the trick for me (4/5 times successful)
-
I quite like that line up tbh. Would love to see kiss again, maiden always put on a good show and not seen SOAD in 8 years (although they weren't great)
Also I'm a huge deftones and offspring fan, thought korn were awesome when I saw them years back and it's impossible to not have fun at a alestorm show

Where do we submit applications to join the club 2020? May as well get it out the way
-
Elton over the Mac easily for me, could see that set being something really special
-
Would love to go to this tour but Glasto would be priority. May have to buy tickets for the London date and sell on (for face value) should I be successful for Glasto
-
Anyone know about local sale priority? AKA I know someone who lives locally but doesn't want to go

Tool were great at download but can't imagine they would agree to glastonbury. Even if they did I doubt they would agree to it being filmed for BBC, would love to see it happen though

AC/DC definitely aren't metal
Also Metallica looked good on TV but I am a fan. Grew up playing their back catalogue on guitar

AC/DC allegedly announcing a 2019/2020 tour on Wednesday.
Don't think glasto would accommodate for the entire stage they bring with them

OK. I'll bite. Why's Jeff Lynne an arse?
Just don't like him. Thinks he's god's gift to earth

Bono is a monumental arse, but as we know, being an arse is no reason to not headline.
Plenty of arse headliners in the past. Notable mentions The Who, Arctic Monkeys, ELO (I class legend as headliner), Kanye west, Oasis....

Think you'll be fine with a camera. They just dont want ones with massive lenses

Security did ask to empty pockets and go through airport style metal detectors but no pat downs. I didn't bother taking anything in
As for Stevie wonder day I thought he was great, also loved Lionels set (probably more than Stevie but I've got a soft spot for Lionel since his glasto performance). Didn't think the sound was bad at all, I was stood to the right of the stage reasonably close to the front (without gold circle). There was an annoying amount of picnic mats though with people lying on the floor making it annoying to get around. Also the bar took a little while to get served but I've experienced far worse
All in all a really great day, hope Stevie gets well soon

I fucking hope not.
Same, they were awful last time. Mind you glasto has a few more options than pyramid

Billy Ocean please

Kiss would be a great headliner, saw them on Tuesday and you don't even need to like their music to enjoy that stage show
Saying that they will probably end up at download and I doubt they'd ever do glasto
-
He would definitely end on goodbye yellow brick road, has been for the whole tour
The 'la's' in crocodile rock would be a fantastic glasto sing along but I don't think it's included in his current setlist
-
Going with 1975 after they deliver a great headline set at Reading (even though I only like a few songs)
Tay Sway (who would be awesome and get loads of TV exposure)
Elton John
Legend Di Ro

To any bookers of Reading just do whatever it takes to get my chemical romance back together and headlining. A trio of Blink/BMTH, Stormzy and Foals isn't particularly exciting imo
