I'd guess the half a million mark. Out of those there will be casuals who try refreshing a couple times and then resort to complaining on twitter

Friday: Swift
Saturday: FM
Sunday: Green day
Being in Norway on the Friday I'd bet this won't happen. Also didn't we rule green day were out with dates either side of the Sunday

We're definitely at the point where someone can drop in with a big name and no rhyme or reason as to why they might be there but we'll still discuss it for pages
Therefore I'm now saying Genesis
-
So we're settled on Kendrick, Elton, Taylor Swift
Kinks legend slot
Looking forward to it
-
Would like to see Kendrick but I think I'd split my time between him and another act
-
I'll be helping people here on the resale. We need someone organised enough to form groups we can all aim for

Royal Blood maybe?
Nine Inch Nails to be bumped up?
Parkway Drive seem like they are definitely on track to do it. Idles are growing extremely quickly but could they have peaked too soon?
Also they should just get Pearl Jam and be done with it. Such a logical headliner which appeals to pretty much everyone

I've bought the glasto book. Looking forward to that arriving anyhow (though ticket less status makes it a bit of a torture). On that note if anyone else has bought the book did you get some kind of email to say you'd been entered into the draw? I mean the Waterstones draw btw.
Not that I'm clutching at straws.... oh no not at all.
I didn't get an email about the draw, just an order confirmation

I'm hoping there's plenty of stuff like this in the 50th anniversary book!

I'm no fan, but I reckon they'd have a huge crowd. Curiosity factor would be massive and they have a huge fanbase.
I'm not a huge fan either but I think they looked really good at reading this year so could bring in a big audience on that merit alone

Flaming lips are touring US in July, would love to see them back for us in June
I really regret seeing Radiohead over these guys (blasphemy on here I know)
If they played this year it would take a very big act for me to miss it

Surprised it's even a debate if they would pull a big crowd. It would be huge

I've always stuck to spirits and buying pints when I get there

Can someone please give me an inkling of hope that Depeche Mode will play? I'd much rather have them over Fleetwood Mac
Okay - Depeche mode will play
Please do not read below this line:
Depeche mode probably won't play

Example seems active again early next year, new material out so festival circuit would make sense. Not that I'd watch him
Yungblood playing Rock AM so would put money on him turning up
Also Deftones aren't a UK exclusive to Download from what I can tell so get them headlining John Peel please

Not sure what the one opposite other stage is but I'll be aiming for that. Should arrive on site around midday Wednesday. One big tent takes up much less space than lots of small ones

Where did you see that? I have pals who would be thrilled if they are back.
Their facebook page. When they announced they were taking 2019 off they said they would be back for 2020!

Been 4 times, never been to the rabbit hole
-
Not sure about 2019 but Wheel of Four Tunes are back again next year

There is an element of fake instagram happy at Glasto but I do think a majority of punters are in it for a good time. Watching Lizzo on TV last year was great as it wasn't a swarm of people on their phones, just a field of people partying
Put her on at something like Coachella and everyone would be watching that through their phone

I had had a very heavy night, having seen Fat Boy Slim in London and then cracked on afterwards doing lots of gear, so by the time 9am rolled around I hadn't actually been to bed yet.
This is written like a pensioner trying to be a 'cool early 20s lad'

I'm the same. I use my wednesday and thursday to drunkenly stumble from bar to bar and that's the way I like it
