I'd love to see it but I reckon she'll go hard on the hits. All Too Well, Long Live, New Year's Day will wait til her own shows.
Would love to see Haunted but can pretty much guarantee she won't play that

I don't look at this thread for 24 hours and now we have Fleetwood mac, Led Zeppelin and Rolling Stones with Taylor Swift subbing
-
Lionel 15 - also my all time favourite glastonbury performance
Kenny 13
ELO 16 - left this as found them very boring

The Commodores just announced a tour. West Holts?
Get Lionel back at glasto! Commodores into Di Ro. Lionel guest for Endless Love?!
On a completely unrelated note Avril Lavigne has just finished a stint over in the states and has a new album she might want to promote over here. Saying that I cannot for the life of me think where she would actually fit on the bill
-
Ellie Goulding 16 - nothing has ever come close to how truly dreadful this was

Why does everyone here hate Kasabian?
I don't. Watched their set on tv in 2014 and thought they looked brilliant.
Do think on record they aren't great but live I think they look fantastic
-
13 - Rolling stones
15 - Lionel
16 - Bring Me the Horizon (seen them loads but they really delivered on this set)
17 - The Killers (Watching Killers on TV in 07 is what made me determined to go to Glastonbury one day, only took me 5 years to actually put my plan into action)
19 - Since I watched a lot of this one on TV, Idles/Lizzo
-
Lionel 2015
Frank Carter & Killers 2017 Great couple of hours in John Peel that
Wheel of Four Tunes, every year

It'll be fun. Paul Simon's voice was shot, Dolly didn't really sing, Kenny Rogers sang the same song 40 times really badly....
I think the legend slot is always great. Except ELO. They were terrible
Lionel still the best set I've ever seen at glasto, was torture for me having to watch kylie on TV last year

Would avoid at all costs

Was going to say Diana Ross was a dead cert for 2017 at one point if I remember correctly
8 hours after I post this she gets announced...
Pretty sure I heard Pearl Jam were a dead cert for the Friday and Elton John for the Saturday at one point

Think we need one headliner confirmed nice and early
-
All signs definitely point to Taylor and based on the amount I've listened to her since securing a ticket on Thursday I bloody hope she plays

Obvs hiking boots of good quality, but I also love my Sanuk shoes for non-wet festivals. I have the pair o' dice ones and they allowed me to walk 15 miles a day at Bonnaroo (Tennessee festival) without blisters. Again, these are dry weather shoes, but they do fit into a small space and weigh next to nothing.
And I also recommend Darn Tough socks - best put, they made me realize why people own multiple pairs of these $25 socks.
$25 for 1 pair of socks!!!
These shoes seem expensive too but I'm willing to part with that as my feet feel broken after every festival I do
-
Anyone know some good shoes for glasto? I've always worn trainers and my feet are usually destroyed by day 2. Willing to spend a bit

Leeds & Reading 2011, The Strokes & Pulp shared the headline slot, with Strokes headlining Reading and Pulp headlining Leeds. We attended Leeds and The Strokes were absolutely crap. Pulp were unbelievable though. If Pulp had been on first like Reading I'd have got off during The Strokes set.
I was at Reading and yeah Pulp were really great. Left a couple of songs into the strokes. Supremely boring

Haha I've asked myself the question of why would people would see a certain headliner over another. Justice over Ed Sheeran is the best example. Out of my group of 15 i was the only one who chose Justice and i remind them often
I went to Hacktivist on Shangri-La. They were great
-
Really hope it's not Arctic Monkeys again. Thought they were dreadful in 2013. Saying that I'd just go watch something else
Best headliner I've seen on Pyramid was Rolling stones

Saw Toto this summer and they were great, not just Africa. In fact I think given their musicality they wouldn't look out of place on West Holts.
Toto have a tonne of hits! Would love to catch them on West Holts, think it would be a busy one

Haha amazing
I'd watch her if she played, had some bangers. Reckon she'd fill other stage very nicely
