Really enjoyed this set in 2022 and hoping they get a new album out and pop up next year. Other sub? Third from top on the pointy one? Woodsies headline?

Sorry to bring the pessimism. But I just assume next year will be a 2016 like mud bath. It’s been nice for too many in a row now so it just must be wet next year. Because, science.

Yeah it’s exceptional. The production looks a bit more dated these days, small screen behind them ect. But they came out belting that night and I still enjoy watching it back.

Pretty nervous now given how tough the coach sale was. I’m recruiting more agents who aren’t going themselves to try for our 5 registrations now.

I saw them in 2011 having never really put a Coldplay album on and I had the best time! A headliner should just be a spectacle that lifts you after a tough day on your feet and Coldplay delivered that night. I would 100% see them on the pointy stage again.

Ok. It sounds like we have ticked the boxes here. I’ll consent to this supergroup headline performance. unless…. Are they even playing festivals? Would they be able to make their production fit?

I’m an advocate for this. But given the headliners seem pretty sorted the consensus around here is that perhaps they will do a Churnups like secret set.

The nerves have gone away! I was super nervous before sale 2 weeks ago that got delayed. But now it’s not really registering. Perhaps my subconscious is still a bit dark about the postponement..

I know this.. I have never not had an amazing time by just stumbling into something at West Holts. I’m just processing my feelings about Bruce and Alanis ruling themselves out recently. I think I can recover.

Ok this one hurts… Quite a few acts I was interested in are ruling out. I’m starting to get a bit pessimistic about the line up. Need to pull myself together.

It’s clearly a possibility, between JZ playing in 08 and her in 2012 there is a connection there. I don’t think it’s too likely though. Not because of the production, but because they won’t have both Coldplay and Beyoncé headling in the same year again.

I don’t know. But next year would be 20 years since their epic first headline performance on the absolution tour and I would be ok if they turned up and recreated that.

They are probably further apart in terms of genre than Madonna and Dua Lippa!

This is what I would go for as well. I would be gutted to miss the Chems as I haven’t caught them since 2015. But I don’t think I could turn up Madonna and despite the easy target for criticism, Coldplay at Glastonbury is always a great time.

Chems clashed with Coldplay in 2011 so perhaps they would try and avoid that this year?
