Working at Creamfields?

Hey! I am thinking of applying to work at Creamfields this year but I a little nervous about doing it on my own!

Has anyone went and worked on their own or have applied this year? just wandering if anyone else is on the same boat as me.

I've been to festivals before just not Creamfields...don't want to miss out!

Hey, I'm working at creamfields by myself too this weekend. I'm volunteering through Festaff, so hoping I'll meet other people there? Feel like a loner lol.

How do you get the chance to work there? is it volunteering?

Depends. You can apply to work through Cream on the bar which is paid, but the paid shifts are during the main part of the weekend i.e. Saturday night and Sunday night.

You can volunteer through Festaff which do things like wristbanding, info points, and bars during the quiet time. I'm working on the bar (fourth year in a row this summer) - work Friday night and Saturday daytime then rest of the weekend I have to enjoy. Never anything worth seeing on the Friday night anyway. Free entry and staff camping, can't complain!

I worked at titp this year with festaff and was finished by 4pm friday so working ain't too bad if you get good shifts!

I just noticed they are still looking for people - I've emailed them as I would need to leave the Sunday so I'm not sure if it's worth it!
