Annoying.

I have my registration number.

However, it's not recognising my postcode? I have a worry I have typoed it in the original registration.

I don't have access to the e-mails as they are on my work computer.

Any ideas?

Cheers!

Maybe try ringing the ticket hotline instead?  It's easier to reason with a person - good luck!

we had the same problem with one of our reg numbers - rejected the postcode for some reason.  We did a couple of refreshes and it went through eventually.  Give that a go - fingers crossed

Someone mentioned in another thread that the postcode has to be all caps with no spaces.

don't think it has to be caps, but don't leave any spaces

Try it without any spaces!

If you already have tried that then get yourself into work and double check!  :D

Thanks for all the above. Have tried everything with no joy. Been on redial since about 9.15 this morning and not got through yet. And unfortunately my work is shut or I would pop down there! Just have to resign myself to not going!

Get on the phone and keep trying!  If the news coming out of See is to be believed then they may not sell out today as their internal systems seem to be no faster than the Internet site.

Do NOT give up!  :)

I'm not giving up, in the words of Marwood though "My thumbs have gone weird." Bloody redial.

That's the spirit.  When your thumbs wear out try using your nose.

i had the same problem - i put western australia on my rego but couldnt use it to buy.

i ended up getting through with westerna, so use the first 8 characters with no spaces.  doesnt matter whether you do caps or not.

Delicious, where in WA are you from and who else from around those parts are you going with? We had 30+ this year, mainly people from Perth, and loads are coming back next time with others. No doubt there's some mutual love in there...

Finally got through to someone. Couldn't find me on the system at all, despite having two confirmation e-mails with the same number on them both. Have to re-register tomorrow and hope there are tickets left :)

This really isn't fair. My friend only registered this week (he didnt tick the box last year) and the reg number and postcode didnt match. I tried loads of times and it didnt work. Now I feel really, really bad and we're gonna have to live on seetickets until we get him a ticket!
I don't understand what went wrong.

I don't either. I'm gutted. I registered the day registration was available. I was up online at 8.45 yesterday and attempting to register as soon as the site went live. Then when my registration wouldn't work, spent til 1pm on redial until I got through on the phone line, only to find out there was no record of my registration - despite having the e-mail confirmation. Absolutely totally gutted.

Have re-registered today so hopefully will get a new registration that works and will be able to pick up a ticket when the handful of failed transactions gets released.

Not holding my breath though.

Well, I've got my new registration number. Now just got to wait until returned tickets go on sale again. Hope it's soon!
