The EPO wristbands have included a QR code for the last couple of years so they’re already scanning staff in and out. Seems inevitable tbh but I will miss having a physical ticket, they’re so nice to look at!

+1 for Prima Facie - the most impactful thing I’ve seen in a long time, Jodie Comer is phenomenal! I saw Moulin Rouge last night which was fantastic - including upwards of 50 different songs it’s like a massive pop music mega mix, utterly joyful!

Booked hotel and carparking in Bristol so we'll be refreshed and ready for the coach! First time as a punter since 2017, still can't quite believe it. Just need to get some mates there tomorrow!

Ooh this is interesting, I got a volunteer coach from Bristol last year from Millennium Square - somewhat naïvely I assumed the See coaches would depart from the same point - thanks for reminding me to never assume!

I prefer boots not just for the potentially muddy conditions, but for the additional ankle support, I'm just not used to doing 40k steps a day on uneven terrain (I live in east anglia, we don't have hills here) so I find I'm less susceptible to injury in a boot. I am careful to pick ones that aren't too heavy though, as others have said they can be hard work, especially with half a ton of sticky mud clinging to them! Insoles are handy, good socks and compeed are essential!

Returned to the forums, just to post to this thread that I've purchased new walking boots as mine had finally begun to disintegrate. Also picked up some waterproof spray, next job is to get the tent out! Its really happening isn't it? 😬
