Signing for tickets

We have a trip away booked in our Motorhome so will possibly be in France when the tickets get delivered (assuming they're not sent out before 1st June). We drive back to the UK  around the 18th June and then will be aiming to set off to Glastonbury on Monday 23rd and staying local'ish that night. I've just remembered that the tickets need to be signed for when they're delivered. Anyone had this problem previously and how did you get around it? I'd be worried about leaving the tickets at the post office until a few days before we leave for the festival. Will the post office allow someone else to collect them on our behalf?

Help please as I'm just having a mad panic about this all going tits up. Hopefully they get sent out in May and then we'll still be at home.

If you have our postie, he'll just push them through the letterbox.

Can you change your address to get them delivered elsewhere?

Legally, you should get a postcard to go claim them. Leave some (photo?) ID with someone and they can pick them up for you, with that postcard.

Thanks.  I'm  scared to change something now in case it messes things up. The tickets are in my name and I'll be the main driver of our motorhome in France so  will need both my passport and driving licence with me. Doesn't look like photocopies would be accepted. Think I'll have to head down to the sorting office later to check with them.

Your sorting office will keep items for 18 days, but owing to the length of your trip you may be cutting it fine if they do arrive on June 1st!

The sorting office need the "something for you" card plus a form of ID- the form of ID could be a credit or debit card.  As others have suggested, might it be possible to leave a credit or debit card with someone and they could go down with the card while you're away?

Thanks for that, really helpful. I'm going to double check that they'd be ok with a credit/debit card as that's do-able.
