I hate thinking this but 100% the Lana fans seem like a nightmare. Queuing for barricade and asking what time to turn up are two things I've never really seen at Primavera. Hoping they don't ruin all other other sets at the main stage.

People can voice an opinion for sure. I was very critical of the line up last year, and people kept telling me to be quiet. I think it's stonking this year, but if it's not for you, that's what makes the world go round. But suggesting it's empirically weaker or unlikely to sell out is frankly ludicrous By any dimension you want to look at it, on paper in terms of size it's one of the biggest they've ever put on. Hell, I'm very anit-IDLES but they're possibly the biggest headliner in terms of current size they've ever had? Maybe second to Pixies?

Dunno what more evidence you need to be convinced it is their aim. Killing of tens of thousands of civilians, half of which are children, multiple mass graves, targeting hospitals, schools and places of worship, switching off water, not allowing in external food or aid, targeted bombing of aid workers including British citizens. They're investing in a future where Palestinian ability to carry on and reproduce is severely restrained. But to come at your suggestion from the other direction, if their aim was purely to target Hamas, with the full advancement and accuracy of American and British weaponry at their disposal, do they need to be carpet bombing civilian areas or are they choosing to do so? If Hamas are in underground bunkers like they said early on I'm not sure how useful white phosphorus on ground level is at stopping them.

I'm expecting the Lana fans to have no festival etiquette whatsoever based on the Reddit posts, but then again we have one of these acts every year and the overall vibe is still always very good. Most attendees are there for the overall quality and depth of the lineup.
