Lockup experience

So I’m traveling for out the country and will be doing some pre and post glasto traveling/work, so I will have come camera equipment with me. Nothing too crazy just my dslr with lenses. What I am concerned about is my small drone.
I know that UAVs are not allowed on site, so what about leaving it along with my camera and laptop in lockup?

I would hate to stuck at the gate because of it. Is there an email for glasto that I could contact?

I volunteer in the lockups. We've looked after camera gear in the lockups before, I'm pretty sure we had some stored with us last festival. I'm also sure we'd have no problem looking after the drone, as long as it's packed up - the issue as you say would be whether you could bring it on site in the first place.

The Drone obviously wouldn't be allowed through the gates, if security noticed it and realised what it is. I wouldn't like to guess how likely they are to spot it without knowing how discretely it packs up, but there's definitely a risk. I doubt that E-Mailing the Festival is going to make any difference as Drones will most likely be one of those "no exceptions" things.

If you can't leave it with your hotel, then find an appropriately located Left Luggage Service off-site.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
