Worthy view - Podpad or Cloud House

a group of us are looking to stay in worthy view this year.....looking at the Podpads or Cloud House.

anyone have any experience of either? Which would you recommend?

also can people get grouped together?

We stayed in a Cloud House last year. 

Pros - as big as some of the yurts, easily fit a double air bed and plenty of room round the sides, could stand up in it, and not as expensive as some other options.

Cons - literally the furthest tents in the whole of WV - it's already a trek back up the hill, and then you're faced with at least another 10mins of walking. It was quiet, but that's because it was right on the edge of the festival (next to the fence!). Also, if you're bothered about this sort of thing, it's more of an old fashioned tent as n the ground sheet is separate to the tent itself and there's no inner tent, so v easy for wandering bugs to crawl in for some warmth. Didn't bother us but I know it would some others.

podpads look ok but small - couldn't stand in some of them, maybe the bigger ones would be OK?

Agree with moho79 - albeit we were in a yurt last year (next to Clouds), it's a long long way from the festival.  Too far for me for this coming year.

Year prior we did podpads - they're very attractive, a lot closer to the showers / food etc and the gate, but cramped i.e. you can't stand in them really.

Both of the above you're gonna have trouble buying for a group in that they sell REALLY quickly.  To group easily, you might wanna think scout tents.
