BBQ'S + emperors field!

has anyone ever taken a little bbq to Kendal Calling?

 

we know that disposable ones are allowed but we have purchased a small foldaway one and hoping we will be able to take this!

 

any info much appreciated please

 

also, this is our first year in emperors fields, any info on what it is like is much appreciated. last year we paid for club class in the general camping section, are the toilets/showers like this or are they not as 'glamorous'?

The showers are a row of cubicles in a massive wagon. You get a cubicle door,small space to undress, hooks for clothes then a curtain to your shower. Small. Unisex. Warm .basic. Dirty after day one.

Thanks for the reply. Sounds like the emperors showers are better than club class based on my experience of cc last year. Although cc has clean, flushing loos and a getting ready area with hairdryers and hair straighteners if you need that kind of thing.
