When do the Lock-Ups open?

I only ask as I have a (maybe) cunning plan.

My friend and I are on the 06.00 coach from London on Wednesday and are hoping to camp at Pennards. I am a bit concerned that we won't make it there before it fills up.

I was thinking of dropping the really heavy stuff off at the lock-ups, or leaving a friend to do it and then making my way over, at speed (yer right) and pitching the tent by myself, going back for it when we have pitched the tent.

Will they be open at that time? Will we be allowed to leave booze there?

They've always been open at gates opening time as far as I can remember. Plenty of people do the same as you and drop everything but the tent off at the lock ups if they have far to walk. They take booze, no problem.
