Inner soles for wellies that are slightly too big

After struggling to find a pair of wellies that fit, (I'm a half size and I have real calves) , i have bought a size 5 but they are a bit loose even with thick socks, can anyone recommend some good inner soles that I can buy just in case ,

I always take a pair of wellies a size to small so they dont slide off when stuck in the mud. luckily the 2 years ive done this ive not had to put them on

I use memory foam ones. Got them from Matalan and you cut them to size. My feet are closer to a 4.5 so I wear a size 5 with insoles and thick socks. Wouldn't fancy wearing ones a size too small for 5 days though!

I have a pair of these (see below) for my walking boots and the boots feel like slippers when I put my feet in to them and walk around.

Would also like any more tips. I have really fat calves, so I've got wellies that fit my calves but are huge in the feet area.

Probably too late but the trick is not to buy wellies at all, but to buy muck boots. They'll fit your feet (properly) and the calves are stretchy neoprene so they fit there too.
