Family camping

Not sure if anyone knows the answer to this, but we are thinking about taking our kids this year (3 and 19 months). We want to take them for the Weds-Friday before persuading their uncle to come and pick them up and take them home for the weekend so we can let our hair down. Planning to camp in family camping, as I don't want kids so young in the main arena at night. Once they go home, will we be allowed to stay in family camping once we no longer have kids with us? Don't want to have to move the tent if at all possible. We won't be letting our hair down so much that we would be a nuisance to the other families but not sure if it will be frowned upon to be there child-free??

If your tent is already set up I can't imagine anyone asking you to leave. We stayed in Wickets and will be this year as well I go back and forth with or without children and never got challenged. We assumed the staff were there to go to if there was a problem.

Thanks both for the replies. We are aiming to camp in wickets as I'm not sure we'll be there early enough for cockmill meadow and don't want to take up a space other families could use for the whole thing. I suppose the worst that could happen is we're asked to move, but fingers crossed. Any tips for taking youngsters?

Lissiemeg, I found this website http://alicewestlake.wordpress.com/glastonbury-with-kids/ so helpful last year: My son will be 19 months when we go and this is his second Glasto, I really enjoyed it last year and this year he is going to visit my sister on Sunday morning so I can party Sunday night :)
