Ferry travel info please

Hi, we're travelling from South Wales. Never been to The Isle of Wight festival before. What day should we leave, what ferry time etc should we aim for arghhh! Didn't think this far ahead :-)

Hi Sianev, im travelling from South Wales and it's my first time to Isle of Wight as well! Me and my mates are driving down on the Thursday and aiming for the 12:00 ferry. We didn't really plan it just booked on impulse haha. Hope it helps

Booked mine at the weekend doing the portsmouth crossing (with car) going 12 fri and returning 23.59 sun night....

worked out about £60 costs was our deciding factor on times!
