Weather predictions ?

As we're only a few days away now , where's best to check for weather updates ?

I was there last year so i'm prepared for the worst but still have hope for some sun !

Last year was freakish rainfall, it'll be nothing like that.

But with it being August bank holiday there are bound to be showers.

It's important the weather leading up to the event as well whether the fields are already saturated or not so this weeks weather is just as important as the weather on the weekend itself.

I'm sure they'll start posting pictures on twitter as the site starts to get put up.

The thing about the weather is it's impossible to predict more than a few days in advance with any kind of accuracy. Further than that it has a tendency to shift a change. At the moment it's looking to be a fairly dry few weeks in the daresbury area but when I checked long term forecasts a few weeks back they were saying thunderstorms, so thats how quick it can change.

Most weather forecast sites seem to agree that you are looking at sun and showers. Nothing that's going to put a dampener (pun very much intended) on your weekend.

The weather is pretty shit for the next few days around Daresbury, I think thats kinda good though...like it might make the ground damp if there is substantial rainfall, but I'd rather get that out the way. Would be kinda worrying if it was blazing sunshine at the moment. Obviously a bit far away to tell but the weather is looking like it's gonna pick up around Wednesday/Thursday.

A lot of people aren't going this year purely based on last years freak bad weather. How sorry are they going to be when we persevered with Creamfields and will be basking in the sun with a cold drink

To be honest I wouldn't plan your weekend around the weather forecast, pack for both. Last year's proof of that. When we arrived it was spot on, sun was shining, I had my shorts on and everything and then that freakshow of a storm hit and flooded it all and sent us packing. But from what I heard from a few people Sunday was supposed to have been a nice day aswell, apart from the campsite being turned into a mud bath.
