Food budget - adults not youths!

Can be anywhere from about £5-£8 for an average meal. It goes without saying that the further from the main stages you get the cheaper the food is, and it's often nicer too :) In 2011 I paid £8 for a pie, mash, peas, and onion gravy at Pie Minister, which is in the more expensive part I'd say... but is delicious!

I'm not taking any food at all this year and I'm budgeting about £20 a day for food, hope that helps :)!

Greenfields for the best value. Prices vary wildly, for a fried egg roll in the morning you can pay between £1.50 and £3.50. The Hare Krishna tent will do you lunch for free with a conscience donation asked but not compulsory.

Trouble is there is so much nice food around that, unless high or pissed, it is tempting to stray into pricier stuff.

I agree with the others, £20 a day should be plenty, that is 2 main meals and then a few quid left for a snack if you need one.

I can't wait to try out some of the food, so much amazing stuff to try! a compulsory Grande Bouffe will be consumed at some stage though!
