So the email address I used to register was hacked last month (cheers yahoo) so I've closed it. I've been on the Glastonbury site and updated my details with my new email address, the site says they'll send me an email to confirm the change. But to my new or old email address? I've not received anything yet to my new one and no access to the old one. Any ideas?

Even though you say it was hacked, has it actually been deleted? Can you not access it anyway to check? I got the balance reminder email today so you should be expecting to see that in one of the email accounts soon if you haven't already.

Can you access your old email account still, as the confirmation link should have been sent there. I was going to suggest using pop3 and import your old emails into your new account, and run the link from there but you'd need your credentials still for that.

Do you have a fallback email address set up on Yahoo, for when the 'forgotten password' is clicked?

Hi all, emailed Glastonbury office and they've advised me to call See and let them know my email address has changed. (Def can't access the old one as I deleted the account). Glastonbury also said I'll need to re-register for tickets for next year.

As I have my old registration number and details I can still pay my balance next week. Happy times and thanks for all your replies.

Thinking about it, one thing you could do, since it's been totally deleted, chances are it's available for registration again - what I'd do is go on Yahoo, open an email account with the same username (different password, to beat the hacker) then once that's done, change the email on seetickets website. You should then get the confirmation email to your 'new' yahoo account, which you can click and it should work :)

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
