possibly in my housing, i haven't looked into who is behind the charity that runs my housing , i wouldn't be surprised if the merchant venturers were involved. from the little i know of them, they're quite active at picking up on new opportunities, such as being involved in quite a lot of school academy trusts around Bristol mostly i visit stoke park estate, a mansion house with parkland owned by Bristol council, which the venturers always seem to have by the balls, bet they've had privileged use of the house at some point. the people making money from the docks were always keen to avoid taxes (the suburb of Clifton is about tax avoidance) and spread their power & influence

New Justice album is pretty middling yeah, but after seeing their Coachella set I’m still convinced Holts is the place to be Sunday night. Even Kevin Parker’s dreary vocals can’t take away from how much of a good time their live sets are. I’ve also not got any real preference on who to see at sub time on the Sunday night so far so might well end up seeing Nia on before them to get a decent spot in case it does become very busy, or maybe do half Burna Boy and then head over. -

What’re people’s thoughts on minus Mondays? Should we have em starting tomorrow and start getting rid of some of the weaker names, or just let it play out for now and maybe bring em in if we’re not making enough progress in a couple of weeks? -

Yeah there could be something to it. I was very much in team ‘there’s gonna be another Churnups’ until the lineup was announced and I kind of settled with that maybe not being the case, but KOL do seem like a prime candidate who are in the right place at the right time. It wouldn’t do much for me, but them being on the Pyramid would certainly make the lineup look stronger, even if they aren’t exactly the most jaw dropping live act these days.
